    Is ALLI for Men Too?

Hi, I bought the Starter Kit  and read all the material but I wasn't sure this was a diet for men too? All the pictures and references are for women. Also I thought  that the max calories of 1800 per day was a bit low for me. I am currently 6'1" and 289lbs. Thank You, Alan

     Hi Al,

Yes, Alli is for men too! My DH (dear husband) has been on the plan with me since March 29th. He started at 197.5lb and is now 172.2lbs and still losing. :-)

If you scroll down the board more and click on one of the different colored forum lines, you'll see an area for men on Alli.

Good luck on your journey to a healthy lifestyle!

Yes, alli is definitely for men!  We've been working hard at changing the notion that alli is just for women.  The opening screen of myalli.com has a photo of a man on the homepage; and as "toolady" mentioned her DH is doing very well with alli!

When you set your "allicircles" preferences (where you can list whom you like to hear from and/or certain categories -- kind of like MySpace).  And when you click on "Communication" how you get to this board, check out the Forums either by your age category, or the one for "Guys on alli."

Please let me know if you need anything else.
