    I need to get better at time management so I make sure I get my cardio in every day. I do much better when I exercise in the morning or as soon as I get home.

    Work-related stress remains pretty high.  Instead of getting to the gym today, I worked at the office and it's uncompensated - yuck - but I had to get certain things done.  My cardio and weight workouts are getting shorted.  I'm pleasantly surprised that my nutrition is actually pretty good despite the high stress at work.

    Laura - Talk about stress ... I'm also watching Hurricane Ike ... my husband and I are both suppose to travel in different directions within Florida this week on work-related business.  We're both wondering if our employers will cancel the trips!  Well, it's 10:41 and the tropical update is on the weather channel in 9 minutes ... gotta go ... I hope everyone is having a nice weekend!!

    Thankfully it appears that Ike is heading south and will not be a major threat to us here in the Sunshine State - my prayers go out to all in his path at this time. Sometimes its hard to be glad we are okay when we know that others will not be.

    Jane - I didnt realize you were down here as well.  Yes, hurricane stress is not a good thing, and it seems that it does not matter how many times you have been through it before, its still bad. Our weather today is beautiful, the proverbial 'calm before the storm'. I will be continuing to watch and pray.

    i wanna say that now that i have steadily been losin a pound a week..it is SOOO much easier to keep my eye on the prize..i know many of you are losing 2,3,4 lbs a week and HHHOORRAY for you ... a pound a week for me is like a miracle..i will take it for sure..keep workin it ladies!!.....kathy
