ANYBODY WITH MORE THAN 100 LBS. TO LOSE???

Hi, I just started my diet today !!! Yipee!!.... I've been putting it off for quite a while now, but I wish I would have started it back in April when I got them!!  I would probably have meet at least 25% of my goal.

You are all inspirations to me and I feel ( I know) I will accomplish my goal....which is to lose at least 100 lbs.

I am at 293 lbs., 5'7'', and 28 yrs. young....and I need to get my act together, I have a soon to be 4 yr. old son, that needs me.

If anybody is going through a similar goal, please give me some pointers...THANK YOU ALL!!

Re: ANYBODY WITH MORE THAN 100 LBS. TO LOSE???

Hey Liz! Girl you made the right choice to start the pills....Congrats on the first step towards a better you!. I'm Jennifer, 27 from New York. I started Alli in April and I"m down 32lbs. I feel awesome. I've got much more to go but I know with Alli I can do it. For me, as well as many others its not so much about the pills as it is about the support you get from these message boards. So many friends pushing you towards your goal. As far as needing to lose 100 pounds, there is a decided area of the boards just for us! I started at 274, now I'm 242. If you go to the my alli forums(the red bar) instead of personal experiences(the green one) and on the forums scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a link for "want to lose 100+". The people there are AWESOME. I've made so many friends. Right now we got a challenge going for september. There are all women in the challenge except for one guy(Larry), who is an awesome inspiration to us all. So the challenge is for the women to try to lose more weight then larry. Its pretty cool and keeps me with my goals of keeping my daily fats/calories/exercise plans in place. I hope youll come join us soon. If you like you can join in on the challenge. You have til 9/8 to sign up. I forget the exact name of the challenge but I know its something with the name Larry in it. Good Luck and stick with it. You can do it! Jennifer
Jen sw as of 4/6/08 274 cw as of 11/5/08 233 (15% lost) 41lbs gone for good! next mini goal 223 Would LOVE to be 215 by xmas. looking forward to a new me, and a better future.
