    alli with low fat meals?

I am just beginning my weight loss journey with alli and have a question. I usually eat a relatively low fat breakfast ranges from 2.5 to 4.5 g's of fat. Do I need to take an alli capsule with such a low fat meal? I have a limited supply of the pills due to their availability to me and was hoping I could skip my breakfast capsule and take the lunch and supper one? If I eat more then my target fat in one meal at times will the alli still be effective, but of course I run the risk of experiencing more significant treatment effects right?

    Thanks Lisa

Re: alli with low fat meals?

Welcome to alli!  It's a great Program and I'm sure you'll do well.  It's OK to skip the capsule if a meal - most likely breakfast - has 5 grams of fat or less.  That shouldn't be for more than one meal a day.

It's very important to have the recommended amount of calories and fat for you level to get the best results with alli.  There are two great posts at the top of this message board on why each is so important.  Take a look when you have a minute, it's great information.

If you eat more fat than your level allows there are chances of TE's.  The more that's consumed the more likely and more severe the TE's will be.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you need anything else.
