    WW Core and Alli

    I am brand spanking new to taking Alli...took my first one at lunch today.  I have a question and I hope someone can help or advise.  I lost 30 lbs. on WW's Core plan and still follow this plan pretty much.  Some people say you can do Core and Alli at the same time; however, some of the foods on Core include avocodes and eggs, which I love--but they are high in fat.  Has anyone else successfully followed the Core and Alli at the same time?  I am suppose to only have 17 gms of fat per day, but with eggs and avocodes...I'm already over.  I really, really, hate counting calories and points...but I'm kinda stuck with the Core. 

     

    Anyone?

     First of all you can have 17g of fat per meal. And I use egg beaters or just egg whites, and avocodes are ok too in small amounts. They are in my meal planning book as a side items for lunch or dinner. You should read through the books provided with your starter kit. There IS tons of info I just found out about that I didnt know. :) Hope that helps! And welcome to the board!! If you dont mind me asking, how much are you looking to lose? Good Luck.

    If you're on the 1600 calorie program - it's 17 fat grams PER MEAL, so you should be just fine :)  :)

    Also - take some time to read the 2 posts on the top of this forum by Betty Kovacs regarding meeting/reaching your fat gram count and your calorie count.  They are essential to having the Alli plan work for you.

     That's what's great about alli, you can incorporate it into almost any diet.  It works well with Weight Watchers, probably the only one it wouldn't work with is Atkins because that's high fat.  I eat avacado in my salad every night.  I just count it as part of my fat grams and only eat a small amount, about 1/2 of a normal sized one.  When I want eggs, I scramble three egg whites and put non-fat mozzarella on top of them while they're still hot.  Delicious.  You can play with your allotment of fat grams and calories and eat anything you want, (peanut butter is a favorite of mine).
