Nausea, Vomiting, and Frequent Belching Feeling

So I've been taking alli once every three days because I noticed that I have the oily treatment effect stools way longer after the "two hours" that alli stays in the system.  It's been much longer than that for me.  For the past three days I've not taken alli at all, and I've felt nauseated beyond belief.  I've vomited once, I feel like vomiting most of the time, and I'm extremely dizzy even when I eat normally and take multivitamins once a day.  Today I also noticed that I have been feeling a lot of acidity in my tummy and just when I think I'm gonnu throw up, it ends up being a burp, then I feel ok for a minute, then the nausea comes back again.  Just the smell of food is making me want to vomit even.

I took a two tums to reduce tummy acidity, but it doesn't really work much...

Any ideas?  For now, I'm trying to cope with the nausea the way a pregnant woman would (no i'm not pregnant) by sucking on ice, drinking lime water, chewing on fennel, etc...

I really need advice for this because I've not been able to function like a normal person for the last four days even for basic day to day activities.  Everything has become quite a large effort.

    Thanks

Re: Nausea, Vomiting, and Frequent Belching Feeling

    jamunz,

The symptoms you describe and their duration is not associated with alli use and should be checked with a physician.

Alli may cause some stomach discomfort and an increase in gas especially if you have eaten a meal high in fat.  One dose of Alli is active in your body for 2 hours blocking fat. Treatment effects and their duration depend on the quantity of fat eaten and blocked as well as how fast your digestive system processes and eliminates waste.

Nausea, vomitting, stomach acidity, loss of apetite, dizziness are indicative of a stomach virus or food poisoning, especially since it is persistent  and not a side effect of the medication.

    Hope you are feeling better.
