Re: Just looking for some friends :)

Hi, a pilates ring is just that a ring with handles on the side.  It is made of plastic or metal (mines metal). From what I read the metal ones work better and last longer. I got mine at walmart but you can get them at most sporting goods places or on line.  Really you just use it to help you tone your muscles and it helps with alot of the regular pilates move too.  I went on line and got some ideas of what moves to do to tone my troubled spots and I really like it.  You can do it every day where you have to wait between days when lifting weights.  You tone up not bulk up which is what I want.  I have only been doing it a few days and already can see a difference.

    Hope this helps

Thanks Becki.  I will check it out.  I love pilates for that fact that it strenthens muscles without adding any bulk.  Thanks.

Hello to Ro and ? ChildofGod.  I am starting too.  I will start taking the pills on Monday.  I'm glad that even the last two days of trying to follow the eating plan that I'm able to do it.  I feel excited.  I feel empowered.  Hope you are feeling well too.  As far as working out when you get really tired, I wonder if some simple weight lifting in the arms would work for now until your doctor can tell you more.  I would sit in a chair and with some small weights or even soup cans just do some bicep curls.  This will increase heart rate a little and work on building muscle at the same time.  But of course remember that I'm not your doctor and we should always go by our doctor's recommendations.  Hope this helps.  Good Luck You can do it because you are a child of God.  God doesn't want us to live weighted down. He wants us to be free so we can do his work on earth.  Just a litlle something I've been telling myself lately.  Write back soon so I know how things are going.

     Dawn
