    Coconut oil

I have been reading great things on Coconut oil. It is very healthy and you can use in shakes to make thicker too.

    Just wondering.

    Re: Coconut oil

Coconut oil is EXTREMELY high in fat, as is coconut milk, and basically any product stemming from coconut.  Tampabayb

    Re: Coconut oil

I'm a big fan of coconut oil too because it is very healthy. For anyone bringing up the issue that it is solid at room temerature, I add that it is liquid at body temperature, which is higher than room temperature. It has as many calories as any other oil, so it's not more fattening than others. I guess I do normally eat a lot of fat, but it is good fat, and I'm really missing it a lot of the time. Maybe I need smaller quantities though. It's so nice to meet some more coconut oil aficionados.

    Re: Coconut oil

     Hi.

I learned about coconut oil from another web site Im on and also at the health store.Likeyou said very high fat but a good healthy fat. more so then oilive oil.

I do think u have to watch how much you use but if you add that and count that in your daily intake you should be ok.

    Re: Coconut oil

For anyone who likes to make Thai food... I buy the Light Coconut Milk for my recipes. It is a lot less fat. In moderation it is ok.
