Hi,
I have not purchased Alli yet as I am still a little skeptical about side effects. I have colitis and I am not sure if this will effect my colitis. I am trying to get in touch with my doctor regarding this issue, but have not received a call back. Does anyone else have this issue? I have gained 20 pounds over the past several months as unfortunately I am going through menopause too and I am told that you gain weight when going through this and it is much harder to take off. This is so true. Can anyone shed any light on my concerns? I really want to get on board, but just need these few questions answered. Thanks.
Hi,
You should post your questions on the forum where you ask the nutritionist or the pharmacist questions, and, you should make it a new topic so they are more likely to see it.
I have IBS, and, I used to have cramps and diarrhea pretty much daily, but, with the alli that has all gone away, and, for the first time ever, I have "regular" BMs & stools. It's so cool that I don't think I'll ever stop taking alli. It's worth it just to have my IBS go away! My sister-in-law's neighbor has the beginnings of Crohn's disease or inflammatory bowel disease, and, like me, when she was on alli, all that completely disappeared for her. I don't think doctors or even the alli manufacturer is aware of that amazing side benefit.
But, definitely, you should talk to *your* doctor before going on alli. And, for sure, post your question on the other two forums so that the experts can weigh in and help you out.
:-)
