Congrats on your milestone Clarence that is wonderful!  Today was my first check-in date and I've only been on the program a week, but I lost 4 pounds which feels like 50 to me since I have been struggling with my weight.  I feel that you, I had to tell someone and this appears to be the right forum.

    Keep up the good work!

Hey thanks for the reply, Regi, It was sure nice to hear from someone. 4 lbs is great in 1 week!! I have been losing real slowly, about a pound a week, but it's better than nothing.  Keep up the good work, we can do this together since I still have anout another 30 to go.

Re: Just starting and great results!

CONGRATULATIONS Evannava, clarence1111 and Regi1955!!!!!  What an accomplishment for all of you.  Keep up the wonderful work!  What an inspiration for all of us.  And Clarence....50 pounds!  WOW!  You go!  I am looking forward to the day I can come here and say I've lost 50 pounds.  That is cause for a celebration.

I started alli a month or so ago and then wandered away from it.  I restarted it last Friday (9/19/08) and lost five pounds!  I am so happy with myself.  I am eating healthy and trying very hard to keep my portions in control.  For me, it's all about getting into a habit of doing this.  Once I have that it will be easier.

Good luck to all of you and keep on doing what you're doing.  I'm so proud of all of you!  Blessings.

    Hugs,

    Shelley

Re: Just starting and great results!

Hey Shelly, believe me if I can do it any one can.  I'm 52 and have been fat all my life, In dec. I was going to buy bigger pants and said no, if I can lose just 10 lbs, my jeans would fit. I started Alli About August 1, and losing slowly, about a pound a week. Another 30 to go. I'm 5 ft tall and still weigh 164. My problem is having some beers on the weekend. But there is no way I'm giving up everything, so I just opened a Miller 64 and turned the Packer game. The weight comes off slowly but you can do it and it's better than surgery. By the way, my celebration was a bloody mary with breakfast. Not very healthy but good, and only 1. Keep up the good work!!!!     Cyndi

Amanda, I can't believe the Packers lost either. I don't know how mad they are at losing Brett, but I'm not very happy about it. That was one of the dumbest moves in history. Oh well, Rogers will have to step up!! Later

Re: Just starting and great results!

I don't mind at all, but it is a pretty small brain HAHA. I started my life change in Dec 07 and lost 36lbs by about the middle of June, then nothing. Some suggested I try Alli, and I have lost 14 lbs from about August 1 till now.  Good luck!! Cyndi

Re: Just starting and great results!

I love hearing these stories, since I just started on 9/24/08.  My goal weight is 155 (or less).  I am 5' 4 1/2" and know I need to lose a bunch of weight.  My first weigh-in was this morning and I'm down 5 pounds....mostly water I guess but I'll take it!

Looking forward to hearing other stories here.

    ~Tiki

P.S. How to you make a signature line (with your starting weight and all your goal weights)?  I'd like to have that on all my posts.  Thank you in advance for helping with this.
