Wednesday is my check-in day. I elected to skip last week for various reasons. I tried to check in this morning and got a server error. I just tried again now (8:45 PM, EST) and I'm still getting the error. Last time this happened (August) I eventually gave up. The next week I was on vacation and couldn't check in. The third week, I went to resume everything as normal and it seemed to think that I had stopped using Alli and made me reregister and essentially start all over, which I really didn't want to do.
So, two problems I'd like some action on, please:
1. Whatever ever problem leads to making it impossible to check in for hours and hours and hours happens far too often. (The two events described above are not the only times I haven't been able to check in when I wanted to because of the server error.) Please fix this. Being able to check in and to do so in a timely manner is very, very important to many if not all of us.
2. Just because I miss 2 weeks of check-ins, especially when you've had a known error that prevented me from checking in, is no reason to treat me as though I've dropped the program. At the very least, I would like an email noting that I haven't checked in in x weeks, acknowledging that this may be due in part to technical errors on your end, and asking me to click a box or send a response or something if I want to continue to be treated as a current Alli user. In fact, now that I think about it, the whole way it went in August was really annoying. First I couldn't check in. Then, from my perspective, all I did was skip a week. Then suddenly, and for no reason that I was aware of, I stopped getting the check-in reminder emails, which I really like getting. It wasn't a good way to handle it on your end. I did not feel like a valued customer.
