Starting Alli back up today! Sick and tired of being sick and tired!!

Okay, so I was on here earlier this summer, and I was slowly losing weight with Alli.  However, I had a really hard time sticking to my guns once my fall semester of school started back and so here I am with all but 5 lbs gained back.  I read all of the successful stories and feel so jealous!  I am tired of being tired and need a change in my life.  I am ready to do whatever it takes to commit to losing this weight once and for all!  I just need a buddy to help keep me on track along the way.  Anyone in?

Roxanna, You have a partner! I too started Alli earlier this year, I had gastric bypass several years back loosing about 160# and have gained back about 40 due to excuses I've given myself with other medical issues since then that have kept me sedentary. A deep breath, a MD appt scheduled for first thing tomorrow and a new supply of ALLI today and I'm resolute. I'm back at 262 today (by my own scale) and weary of my own excuses. I walked every day this week except for yesterday and realized yesterday that the walking was just that ... walking, not exercising as my heart rate never increased.  It's a start. It's where I'm beginning and I'm glad to have ALLI as a partner. Good luck to you!

Latagi, misscandra, and gfawga I look forward to us being successfull partners in this weightloss journey!

Latagi, I am really good and not eating when I'm not hungry, it's the exercising that I've lost momentum for.  I have a Jillian Michael's dvd, and it is only 20min.  I am going to try to make it an effort to take 20min out of my busy schedule and do it at least 4x a week!

Misscandra, I'll go on my myspace in just a minute and add you!  I look forward to talking with you and reading your story!

Gfawga, good luck at the dr tomorrow!  And great job on that walking!!!  I am ashamed to say the only walking I have been doing is around campus and to my car!

I weigh in on Thursday's and will make it an effort to get on here then and more if I can!

    Good luck to us all!

Re: Starting Alli back up today! Sick and tired of being sick and tired!!

Well, I haven't added any exercise in these past two weeks yet.  Got it planned in for the end of this week and weekend now though.  However I have been doing really well on Alli.  No TE's or anything and today I weighed in at 233.  So YAY!

Re: Starting Alli back up today! Sick and tired of being sick and tired!!

    Hey Roxanna,

I too started Alli about a year ago.  I lost 15 pounds between Oct and Jan.  I was keeping it off until a couple of months ago. The weight started sneaking its way back on me.  I restarted alli 2 weeks ago and lost 1 pound the first week but stayed the same this week.

My big problem is getting back to the gym or even doing simple exercises at home.  I have GOT to get motivated.  Thanks for posting and sharing the same concerns.  I will try to motivate you and want you to push me as hard as you can.

Re: Starting Alli back up today! Sick and tired of being sick and tired!!

Hi Candace!  I too have a problem getting some exercises in at home.  I have a gym in my house, but lately haven't stepped foot in it!  I need to get my motivation back, so I can continue losing this weight!  I really want my old self back..sometimes I sit here and wonder how in the world I ever let this much weight creep into my life.  I want to be confident in my clothes without worrying/stressing over how everything fits.  I feel like I can do it this time on Alli.  Good luck to you!  My goal this week is to get in my Jillian Michaels 20min workout (dvd) at least 4x this week.  I am going to get up earlier (leave my house at 6 so I already get up at 5) around 4 30 and see if that helps.

    Keep in touch!

Re: Starting Alli back up today! Sick and tired of being sick and tired!!

Today is my Sunday check-in and I've gained 8 pounds in two weeks. I'm soooo frustrated!!! I obviously need to do a better job with portion control and exercise.  Walking and getting my heartrate up when walking so it counts as exercise is tricky. I can walk a ways but not when my heartrate is up and i'm scared to get "stuck" somewhere. One more excuse huh. Okay ladies, I'm still on track but am not progressing in the right direction! I'll touch base with better news next Sunday!

Well then walk a bit less far and just go back and forth more.  Taking the first few steps is always the hardest.  This is the time of year when we really have to stay motiviated and focused.  I know we can do it.
