     Hi All!

    I've been on track with the nutrition and the cardio - I am running further and walking much less, doing the entire 3.2 mile loop now in about 38 minutes 3 times a week, along with the daily 1/2 mile dogwalk (times 2) -- along with countless outdoor chores including cleaning the garage, resealing the pavement in our complex, deep housecleaning, attic cleaning......  the only thing I have not done well is log in - and I have jury duty this upcoming week along with Thanksgiving at the inlaws.....its gonna be another one of those insane weeks around here!

    Happy Thanksgiving to you all - a gal on one of the other boards suggested taking Alli before the meal anyway stating the fear of a TE usually keeps her focused...thats my plan.  Wish me luck - its a long car ride home!

     i want to thank jane for keeping tabs on all of this and i think that the 4 of us will do just fine over the holidays....  i am looking forward to seeing all of you around the alli site.. i will be following your progress and i am SURE that we will get there.. everyone has been so supportive and encouraging as i try and get fit again and start a new chapter in my life.. if it was not for the support i have gotten on the alli site , i am sure i would have given up a long time ago.. so a big thank you to you, ladies!!

    Cardio: 45 min walk - very little THR (I remembered my watch that can give me a heart rate readout - the best I did was around 65% of my target heart rate but I moved around some and got some sun and fresh air but I'm going to count - 0 pt.

    Weekly weight weigh-in - 1 pt.

    Posting - 1 pt.

    Kathy - Thanks for the encouraging words and you're welcome!  Kathy, Laura and Melissa - thanks for being here.  I feel the same way you do, Kathy, the support on the Alli site is important to me.  My husband is a great guy but he doesn't think much of eating healthy or working out.  We moved to our present home almost 5 years ago; 4 months later, a hydroplaning van partial landed on my car.  I spent the next 2 1/2 years recovering (and gaining weight due to limitations, inactivity and probably depression!!).  I live in a nice town but for the first 2 1/2 years, the only people I got to know were medical professionals!!  I've slowly met nice people here but even now I still feel I don't know many people here with similar interests (some of the people I've met here through my husband seem to be primarily interested in gourmet dining!!), so it's nice to log-on and communicate with people who also care about healthy and who want to lose weight or maintain a weight loss.  It's also nice to "talk" to people who understand the difficulties in doing it!  In many ways, times are difficult for many people this year and I am really thankful for my many blessings including our group of four!  Many joys and blessings to all of you over the holiday!!  - Jane
