Kathy - Thanks for the encouraging words and you're welcome! Kathy, Laura and Melissa - thanks for being here. I feel the same way you do, Kathy, the support on the Alli site is important to me. My husband is a great guy but he doesn't think much of eating healthy or working out. We moved to our present home almost 5 years ago; 4 months later, a hydroplaning van partial landed on my car. I spent the next 2 1/2 years recovering (and gaining weight due to limitations, inactivity and probably depression!!). I live in a nice town but for the first 2 1/2 years, the only people I got to know were medical professionals!! I've slowly met nice people here but even now I still feel I don't know many people here with similar interests (some of the people I've met here through my husband seem to be primarily interested in gourmet dining!!), so it's nice to log-on and communicate with people who also care about healthy and who want to lose weight or maintain a weight loss. It's also nice to "talk" to people who understand the difficulties in doing it! In many ways, times are difficult for many people this year and I am really thankful for my many blessings including our group of four! Many joys and blessings to all of you over the holiday!! - Jane
