     Way to go everyone!  Avoiding all the treats or just having very little.  :)  Today I just did not feel like exercising.....  I work tonight and have physical therapy tomorrow (Hopefully after work I can do something before PT).

     Nutrition 1610/57 ... less problems today staying away from the junky-between-meal snacks ;-).  45 min pilate class ... I probably due only 50 to 75% of what everyone else can do but it's still a good workout for me.

    I brought work home from the office so I have to get going on it!!

    Kathy and Dee - Sounds like we're all supporting each other and staying on the same track as far as avoiding the really high-calorie junk.


    I expect I'll post tomorrow evening, but I don't know who else will.  Here's wishing everyone (regardless of how they observe Christmas) a Christmas filled with low cal treats and many blessings!!

    Christmas Eve

     Well, during the night I could not avoid a HUGE rice krispie bar with chocolate on top.  It was so good, so that was my early Christmas present to myself.  Anyway, this morning after work I got in a quick 25 min abs, legs, butt, and thigh exercise and boy it was a good one!  Then a quick shower and off to PT.  Now off to bed.  Have a wonderful Christmas Eve everyone I will be sleeping since I work  straight through to Saturday night!

     Nutrition 1450/77.  10 min stair-stepper and 15 min elliptical before work and a 10 min stroll at lunch time.

    To those of you in the medical profession - Dee and Kathy - I know you both do this - God bless you for taking care of patients on these holidays!

    Christmas Day

     MERRY CHRISTMAS!  Good morning to you all.  This morning after work I did a GREAT 45 minutes exercise cardio workout, boy it sure felt GREAT!  Now off to the shower and to bed since I have to work tonight. 

    Jane, that is part of our job and actually we get paid a lot more when we work holidays which helps some.  :)We have our Christmas at different times and are thankful for what talents God has given each and everyone of us.

     Hi all.....

    This morning I did some day after Christmas shopping with all of the sales.  Then I tacked a 50 min total body core workout with cardio.  Man, I'm beat.  Time for a quick shower and a quick lunch date with my husband and off to bed.

    Thursday - Christmas - Nutrition estimate 1780/70 - probably much higher - it's hard to tell what other cooks put in the food but I expect it to be richer than usual on a holiday! Exercise - 50 min walk and 20 min of Pilates (a DVD) ... I'm new at this so I can only do some of the stuff ... I tried to follow the DVD for 20 min but probably only successfully did 10 min worth of Pilates.

    Friday - Nutrition 1370/60. Cardio - 30 min elliptical and 10 min stepmill. Strength training - upper and lower body workout.

    Didn't cook on Christmas but I'm hosting a get-together tomorrow night so I've been cookie and baking, but, thankfully, not tasting!!

    Dee - You're a trooper posting on Christmas!

    Hope everyone had a happy holiday ... Kathy, I know you were concerned about how this Christmas would go for your children ... I hope it was a good one for you and your loved ones!

     This morning I only did my 25 min BLT video (butt, legs and thighs...abs too).  I have to quick shower and try to sleep we are going to go to a movie tonight with some friends before I have to go to work.

     HI ..  well today was the last of the holiday fattening meals.. my son, dil, & 2 grandkids had us over for our family christmas after the fact.. my sons and i worked on christmas eve.. so we usually have our immediate family.  just me and the kids on christmas eve.. so we just postponed it until tonight... i was bad....he made a prime rib..i made some garlic mashed potatoes and some fresh green beans almondine and had some fattening appetizers too...  so i have had my calories for the day... i went over my fat grams i am sure, so i did not take a pill.. and i didnt work out today either... so tomorrow i really need to get serious.. i will, dont worry..its a good thing i dont do that every day..anyway.. gonna go and i will let you know tomorrow how good i was.. ok?   Kathy

     Kathy - Yes, it's that time of year!!  I hosted a party on Saturday ... I have no idea what my calories and fats were for the day but it was all very tasty!!  I did get to the gym.  It was a day off from strength training because I did an upper and lower body workout on Friday.  Cario - 30 min elliptical and 10 min stepmill.  I have houseguests who came yesterday and will be here until Jan 2.  There's leftovers last night's party and another party on New Year's Eve!

    Hi everyone......this is Melissa Brownie1 I have participated in a lot of the monthly challenges but stopped after the november challenge because work got crazy and we weren't doing one for december but as the month is closing I find myself in desperate need of the support I got from everyone....during the challeneges.....would love to join......

     It is that time of the year......I ate Chinese food tonight.  :)  Well, I did not exercise today since after work this morning we went to church then went shopping and we just got home.  I've been up for 26 hours, so this body is going to go to bed and sleep for hopefully 12 hours.  :)  I'll exercise tomorrow and post then.  Tuesday I'm having minor surgery, so I may not be able to exercise for a couple of days.....we will see.
