     Nutrition 1129/53/73 Cardio - None yet today but I hope to get a little walk in within the next hour.  At work I have fiscal year end on Tuesday so I've been working on files from the office here at home.  Wishing everyone a nice week. - Jane

     Hi all,

    I have not been exercising instead just been stressed.  Divorce is a tough thing and I"m not sure how to get my oomph back to get back to the gym.  With working nights, kids, and school it is all wearing me down!  Anyway, you all look like your doing a GREAT job!

     hi dee.. as you know i recently went through a divorce too.. my sympathies are with you..i know its not easy, but try not to eat your stress away..i know you might not believe it now, but SOMEDAY when you recover from your loss and decide to get back out there, you will find that with your weight loss comes a sense of accomplishment and you will find that it gives you a self confidence you didnt know you had...when you work hard at something it means more to you.. as i "got back out there", i had a strong sense of what kind of man was right for me..i need to be with someone who cares about their health (as in overweight, not gonna do anything about it  unhealthy eaters and or smokers need not apply..not interested.     i  dont want to be with someone who doesnt care about their health...) you may find that you feel the same way..i cannot believe how much better i feel having made these positive changes in my life and it is so nice to share it with someone who feels the same way..as we get older, our health becomes so much more important..  ok..some unasked for advice is coming your way... ALLOW yourself  at least 15 minutes every day to walk, work out, something ...every week add one minute to this  until you have 30 minutes every day... i guarantee you, you will be glad you did.. my new man does not begrudge me my "me time" .. he has his own time that he swims for his workout..he is very interested in my healthy eating and enjoys the same low fat foods that i do now..as we got to know each other better i found out that he is a type 2 diabetic that has lost over 80 lbs , and is almost off of his diabetes meds..we both agree that we feel better lighter than heavier and we look forward  to adding rather than sutracting years to our life..so we are interested in staying on this healthy lifestyle..whether we stay together or not..we both agree that its so much easier to maintain this when we BOTH share the same vision....(my ex always complained about my gym time ..and i never ever got an "atta girl"even after i lost a significant amount of weight..i think he may have felt threatened.. as i quit smoking , lost weight and felt better)  so do it for YOU!!!! YOU are important too..dont forget that.,...kathy

    Tuesday: Nutrition - 1396/64/79 /No Cardio/No Strength Training

    Wednesday: Nutritoin - 1281/45/59 /No Cardio/No Strength Training

    STRESS!! Tuesday was fiscal year end at work, I worked 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.  At 6:30 I was sitting in my car at the traffic light right outside my office, the light turned green and the car in front of me failed to move, so the guy behind me rear-ended my car!  Now I have tightness in my jaw and neck.  The guy told the police that someone hit him from behind and drove off. Curiously, his car has no rear damage but his insurance has already said that if the police report gives credence to his statement, then they won't repair my car, my insurance company will. On the plus side, I drove home after the police report and I drove today.  After I was in a really serious accident in 2004, it took me about a year to be able to drive about 10 miles and it took almost another year for me to drive on an interstate.  So  I'm jittery today but I'm still driving, so that's a plus.   

    Dee - I've never been through that ... I've been married 38 years to the best husband in the world.  I do hope that things improve and come together for you.  I'm sure they will, in time, but I hope that time for you comes soon.  Wishing you the very, very best ... your in my prayers!

     hi ladies... jane.. i hope you are ok.. is the pain going away??congrats on the big weight loss..lets hope it can continue.. its so much easier sticking with it when you see progress...  well as most of you know i was on vacation this week..  a casino day, followed by a couple of days at my boyfriends cabin followed by  a couple of days with the grandkids..so in short, i have not made it to the gym for a week.. i feel the need to go..so today i am going..but it isnt like i have been a couch potato either.. lots of walking  and being active..my weight stayed the same.. which is encouraging..  i will report my gym workout later.. its a beautiful day.. i am gonna do some yard work, and go to the gym and maybe get a long bike ride in..  later...........kathy

     hey ladies.. well after a long week of no gym.. i went back and hit it.. i did 25 mins on the eliptical machine level 8 and then went downstairs and did arm, leg and core weight machines..didnt hit an\ything too hard , just did 20 reps on each machine and did 75 crunches on the ball..ok, i admit it..it did sorta feel good getting back ..i  feel great now that i am done!!..i am gonna go out for a long bike ride now and thats going to be my transportation all week next week to work unless it rains in the morning..(thats my rule)...kathy

     Hi,

    I've been maintaining my weight just no exercise yet.  Haven't had enough energy to do it plus homework.  Did get out with a good friend over 4th of July which was fun!  I hope all had a good 4th of July!

     I wanted to go to the gym today, but ended up babysitting my neice.  So, Wii Fit for 45 was my alternative.  I feel better that I didn't just do nothing.

    Jane- I never knew Miboca had a meaning until after I came up with it 10 years ago.  After the birth of my 1st child, my husband and I got our first computer.  We used the first 2 letters of my husband's name (mike), my name (bonnie), and my son's name (caleb) to come up with a username.  I need to change it since I have 2 more children, but I haven't gotten around to it!  LOL  :)
