Congrats on everyone's weight loss! Even one pound gone is one pound gone!
I did my 10th day weigh in, somehow I'm down another 3 pounds. I was really worried because I caved on a crabcake last night and red meat the day before. I live in Maryland, the crab cake temptation is far too great.
Sandra, keep in mind, I have more weight to lose than you. I bet when i get under 200 it will get fairly difficult, so don't be discouraged. Here's what I'm doing thus far, hopefully it will be of help to you:
Food: 1400-1600 kcal a day, average about 25-35 grams of fat a day
Exercise: Cardio/strength training combo at least 3 times a week for about 25-30 minutes, by means of an Exercise TV workout on OnDemand. Strength training by itself with 5 pound weights almost every night.
Yanked this out of my journal:
"
Pita bread, with spinach, hummus, tomato and cheese (340 calories, 7 grams of fat)
I wasn't in the mood for cardio, so I did about 20 minutes of weight training and 20 minutes of dancing!
On the way to work, I ate 110 calories of pretzels
For dinner, I had an eating right meal (200 cal, 7 grams of fat)
and 2 desserts (200 cal, 5 grams of fat)
Propel water (30 calories)
Later on. 1 dessert pack (100 cal, 2.5 fat grams)
Dinner: Healthy Choice (250 cal, 3 grams of fat)
Dessert (150 cal, 3 grams of fat)
Totals: 1380 kcal, 23 grams of fat for the day "
This is a day at work, hence all the instant food. All I can say is baked soy pita bread has become my best friend.
Good luck ladies, we can do this!
