    Curves

Hi...My name is Holly and I started on Alli 12/31/08 and have  lost 14 pounds and am ecstatic with the weight loss I have 36 pounds to go.  I also joined curves right after starting the Alli plan.  I was just wondering if anyone else belongs to curves and what kind of results you are seeing.

    Re: Curves

Hi. I have been going to curves for over 4 years. I love it.But Not all curves are the same. Some are better then others. Mine is great.

I go like I said 5 days aweek. stay about 45-1hr.sometimes longer because I talk.ha

I do think you have to work machines hard and do those broads hard. like running in place .If you want harder work out and more 1 on one. just ask. At my club they are more then willing to help u get to goals.

But check out diff. ones and see. Maybe a diff. kind of gym is better for you.

Do things at home also. I have treadmill and need to get back on and do other things.

Curves also have a new diet program that is kinda like weight watchers.

Try it for a month and see.{Gym

I know you can  pay once a month or even 6 months.

I do year at a time. But when I started curves I paid once a month for 4 months just to see if I liked it. that might be something u could do.

Also go to their web site.

    Re: Curves

I have actually been doing "walk at home" dvds and they are working pretty well.... I just thought it would be nice to add something else into the mix.

    Re: Curves

Thanks for the info.  I joined on Jan 2 and was weighed and measured for the first time Jan 29 I lost 7.5 inches and was really happy with that.  We went on vacation for 10 days and I am back at it again.  I do enjoy the work out and I don't feel intimidated like I have when I went to Bally's.   I go to Curves every other day and walk on my treadmill every other day.  I just hope I can keep it up.  I did check out the web site and have gotten a few new recipes from Curves.

    Re: Curves

I would love and excercise buddy.

I was on vacation for 10 days and am back at it.  I go 3 times a week then walk on my tread mill the other 4.  I had my first weigh in and measurement day before I left for FL.  I lost 7.5 inches and 3 pounds so I was pretty happy with that.  Wish the weight would have been more but I was told that I was building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat!!!

Let me know how you are doing.

No. my club doesn't have the smart machines.  How are they?

    Re: Curves

    Hi Holly

I joined curves 2 years ago and did great - had lost 17-1/2 inches, but this past year has been hard on my schedule to get there.  I am really hoping to go back on a more regular basis because it is really fun, the people friendly and I do not feel intimidated.

Unfortunately I need to lose a good 60-80 lbs (sad that I let myself get this far).  But now with a better diet and starting the exercise routine again, I am hoping for some better results.  I always seem to be in a constant holding pattern.  Guess that's better than constantly moving on up :)
