    March goals challenge

     thought id start a new challenge for march if any one wants to join me

    My goals are the same

    1.  lose 8 pounds

    2  eat more veggies and fruits

    3 more water

    4 exercise every day at least 10 mins.

     My goals are

    1. loose 12 pounds

    2. drink more water

    3.  bump my exercise time to 45. min

    4.  eat more fruit  and veggies

     I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME!!!!!!!!!

     I'm with you on that challenge.  8 lbs is probably more than I can loose in a month.  I've lost 13 so far ( I started Alli before I set up my online profile, so it shows a smaller loss), leaving me 25-30 lbs to go, and I know I won't loose that fast now.  But I'll set a goal of 4 lbs for the month and agree to the others.  I really need the exercise one and 10 min a day might be something I'd actually do!  My birthday was this week, so I haven't been following things too well and feel lucky to have only gained 1 lb.

     Hi.  February was rough! With Valentine's day and being so hungry, I only lost 2 lbs!!!

    March has got to be a better month for me as my wedding is approaching.

     

    1. Increase my fat intake -I have been very slow with weight loss d/t reduced-fat eating.

    2. Start jogging. Slowly.The elliptical machine is building muscle. It's hard to keep track when the scale isn't moving.

    3. Drink 8-9 glasses of water daily.

    4. Reduce bread & sugar intake.

    5. Lost 10 lbs!

    I want to join the March challenge. I just started alli again on Friday. I did it once last year for a couple of months.

    I will try to lose 8 lbs, too!  Good luck to all of us.

    My personal goals:

    1. Start an exercise program. 

    2. Lose 10 pounds.

    3. Take my vitimins DAILY!

    4. THINK POSTIVE THOUGHTS AND CELEBRATE MY SMALL SUCCESSES!

     I'm in! Here are my goals -

    1. Get back on track!

    2. Drink more water - need to get those 64oz.

    3. Loose 11lbs.

    4. Stick to an exercise routine - even if it means getting up early in the morning!

    5. Keep up with everyone on the posts to stay encouraged.

    We can all do it if we stick together! Thanks for the challenge Linda!

    Ok Linda, I am in! Shoot maybe this challenge will get me moving in the right direction again!

    Goals:

    1. Lose 4 pounds

    2. Start working out, at least 15 minutes a day. Be it walking, weights or swimming, anything to start exercisisng again!

    3.Drink more water

    4. Stay with the challenge, I am really bad with challenges!!

     I would like to join the March challenage too...

    -would like to get back on track

    -lose 6 lbs this month

    -be consistant in working out

    -make better choices with food

     i was hoping march was going to be a normal month for me with no issues.But icame down with the office cold and since i have asthma,it settled in my chest so i have had to use my nebulizer.the med for the nebulizer is put in a saline(salt) solution to use.So today i weighed in and gained 4 pounds.my hands are swollen,but the good thing is as soon as i stop using the nebulizer the water weight gain will be gone.

    So far i have been doing at least 10 mins of exercise and am increasing my veggies and water.

    how is every one doing so far are you meeting your goals.

    The wheather is suppossed to get up to 50 by the end of the week so i want and need to get out and start walking again,hopefully no more SNOW

     Linda,

    I swell a lot, and know how uncomfortable and bloated it feels.  that stinks.  But you will be better soon,and it will not be an issue.  Up your water, and you'll feel better.

    I totally agree with you that we deserve much better weather.  that snowstorm Sunday/Monday about killed my spirit.  But as I'm sitting here, it's 38 degrees, up from 0 this morning, and we're only going up from here!  I heard a little birdie say that this may possibly be the last of our cold, cold weather.  I hope so!!  I want to walk outside without getting hit by a snowplow!

    I'm up one this week, but I'm coming onto my T-O-M, and really amped up my exercise.  That nordic trac is tough.  Like some torture device.  I can only do 5 minutes, so my goal should get up to 10 minutes, 3x a week! I think I've lost inches...  I should measure myself.

     Linda, do follow slbeebe's advice, drink lots of water. That should help you eliminate some of the sodium. Hey, I hate to admit it but the weather in Miami is just fantastic! no excuses for not walking outside, except the alligators, and that si a very weak excuse!! I did walk last week and the day before yesterday (I actually walk inside an outlet mall, very good for finding bargains!!).  Not doing to good with the increase in water intake, have to waork more on that!! Did good with staying with the plan. I weighed myself today and have lost one pound from last week, so I guess the challenge has inspired me!! I may not be drinking more water but I have incresed the liquids that I am taking in, all low in calories (FUZE and teas). Ok, everyone, stay focused and with the plan!! We can do this!! Love,
