     Hi jskdean76,

I'm 30 years old, and I check in on the site pretty much everyday. This will be be my second go round with Alli. I originally started 2 years ago and lost 42 lbs, but because of my bad habits, I gained all that weight back. I've been back on Alli for almost 2 months now and have lost 13-15 lbs. (depending on when I weigh myself.) I'll be glad when I can get down to my goal weight. The past couple of weeks have been challenging since I've been stuck at the same weight--214lbs. Hopefully, I'll get there and stay there this time.

    Welcome!

It's great to have people checking in and getting support. I really believe it helps keep us on track.

I'm having a great week so far even though the weather has been wet. The sun is out this morning and it's not supposed to rain until this afternoon so I'm going to take advantage and bike with my dog. He hates being stuck at home when it's too wet to bike.

Hope everyone is doing well staying on track!

     Hey guys

I've been on alli for almost 3 weeks now and I've lost 10lbs. I haven't had any TE's but today for some reason am having stomach discomfort. My cycle should be starting in like the next day or so, and I was thinking that might be it. I just wanted to know if anyone else has felt that. It just started today and I hoping it will pass soon. Also, by brother bought me the "Tracy Anderson" workout dvds and I plan to do them in the morning before work. Have you guys ever heard of her? I haven't looked at the dvds yet but I read some good reviews. Apparently she trains some celebs but I have no idea about her. She's got like 3 dvds she's made so I'm going to see if that will get me past the 10lbs mark. I like my progress, but I want more....

Re: 20's to 40's that actually check in

Well, I guess I spoke too soon. lol I fell over with my bike yesterday and dislocated my right shoulder. Of all the crazy things! So, I guess I won't be doing my aerobics or biking but I was still able to get on the treadmill for a 3 mile walk this morning.

Law_walker, I haven't heard of Tracy Anderson. Hope the workouts are good for you. Sounds like your stomach issues are probably related to your cycles. I get that the day or two before I start.

Hope everyone is having a good week!

My shoulder is doing better every day. I'm so glad I'm in good shape because I think it has made a huge difference in my progress. I'm getting on the treadmill every morning. Today I cranked up the intensity just a little more so that I could really burn some calories. It feels really good just to walk but I'm missing my aerobics. lol

Re: 20's to 40's that actually check in

Thanks, Crystal. Yes, the shoulder can be pretty painful. It's hard because it's my right shoulder and being right handed makes this very frustrating. I can't wait to see the Ortho on Monday so I can start some physical therapy and get back to my aerobics. lol At least I'm still able to do my walking, so I'm getting some exercise in. I even went on a 6 mile walk with my daughter yesterday. I never would have been able to do that last summer.

Keep up all the good work!

Re: 20's to 40's that actually check in

Well, I saw the Orthopeist on Monday and he is making me stay in the sling for another 2 weeks. I'm kind of bummed because I'm itching to get back to my aerobics but on the other hand I understand the need to make sure things are well healed before doing too much. He did encourage me to continue my walks so I'm getting some exercise.

The weather is gorgeous right now. I'm trying to get my 3 mile power walks in during the morning, when it's cooler. I'm sure this is really helping with continued my weight loss and helping my legs tone more. Drinking lots of water, too.

    Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi there, I am 33 and have been on Alli since June 23rd. I just had my first check in yesterday and I lost eight pounds. I plan to check in once a week - any more than that and I will make myself crazy. =0)

    Good luck to everyone,

    Kelly

Re: 20's to 40's that actually check in

Hi everyone! My name is Melissa. I am actually 19, married almost 2 years, and in my 3rd year of college. I've been on my own since 16 and developed really nasty eating habbits.... working PLUS school I would be hungry all day and then just stuff my face with fast food every night.

I am a culinary arts student so that doesn't help. I love food. I am trying to learn to learn to prepare food more than I love to eat it...

I started alli on the 19th of May 2009. So far I have lost 6.8 lbs! I was soo extatic. This is by far the best diet I have been on. I can still eat really good meals... that I get to prepare... I have just learned to eat less of them.

I've also learned to keep track of what I put into my body which has been a great help.

I would love some buddies... I check in probably every other day... about 3 or 4 times a week.

    Hope you're all doing well!

    Melissa
