Are you making sure that you are sticking with low-fat food and watching your calorie intake.  I do good when I make sure that I keep track of fat grams as well.  Try finding a low fat meal for each meal and try to stick with the same meal for the next two weeks and see where that get's you.  Subway has been a big friend of mine.  They have sandwiches that have only 6 grams of fat.  If you prefer to cook at home there is also a book at the dollar tree stores that have lots of options for cookin meals at home. The book is only a dollar and it also has charts on food that you can eat while your out.  I bought one for home, the car, and one to keep in my desk at work.  I keep the small one that comes with the alli kit in my purse.

    Re: Messing up my self

Honey I was having the same problem as far as the gas was going. I started to really get to specifics on my numbers as far as fat grams. The calories didn't seem to bother me if i went over just a bit but if i went over any on the fat grams i needed an escapre room to the bathroom. my suggestion would be to make sure you use the guides to help count your fat intake. i have only been on for 2 weeks and i have lost right around 10 pounds and i eat by the book. i always actually undereat just in case cause its discomforting if you go over. good luck.

    Re: Messing up my self

I started Alli recently and have had absolutely NO treatment effects. I am very strict with the diet, low fat, I write everything down, fat grams, calories, etc... Exercise 6 days a week. I think if you do the eating properly you will not get the treatment effects. YOu can do it. Get a spiral notebook and plan out your meals ahead of time. Write it all down. I find that I will not cheat because I do not want treatment effects. That is incentive enough not to stray from the strict eating. Good luck... You can do it!!!!!

I had the same reaction when I first started taking Alli.  I continued taking it and cut out foods high in fat, and since April 2009 lost 47 pounds and no longer have the adverse effects.  Good luck!
