    Prescription Dosage

I found out that the Prescription dosage (for ALLI over the counter) is Xenical, but no Insurance covers it, and( I was reading that you can get it for about $75.00 almost a month supply, from the internet sites which is alot cheaper than the pharmacist was going to charge me.  They told me it is 330.00 for a month's supply of 120MG of Xenical with the orlistat.  I have seen Xenical on several sites for the 75.00 but I was a little confused, I guess they require a prescription, What my question is? How do you show them your prescription if you want to purchase it from their site.?  I was wondering if the INTERNET Xenical is the same as getting it from a Pharmacist?  I also am considering asking the Doctor if I could double ALLi's dosage,  would be the same as Xenical dosage of 120MG.  The moderator told me that doctors prescribe Xenical when their patients are Obese.  It is supposed to be more effective for the Obese candidates.

    Thanks,

Re: Prescription Dosage 120MG VS 60MG

If anyone has tried to buy a prescription dose and they told you it would atually be the Xenical version and No INSURANCE covers it.  It would cost $330.00 for a prescription dose of Xenical.  It is only for 1 month.  I asked my Doctor if I could double the over the counter version, which is 60mg and my dosage was 120MG.  She told me it would be fine to double it.  However: you need to ask your doctor if that is okay!  The results are supposed to be better, but if you haven't asked your doctor don't do it!  I am thinking of purchasing it at Costco, because you get 170 Tabs. for 69.95 which is just short of a months supply for me.  It is much better for me to buy it that way, because I can't afford $330.00 a month I am on limited income.  I am wondering since I really didn't experience any side effects, on the 60MG if I will since I am going to double the dosage?? I doubled it last night and ate a fatty meal, however I had no side effect, which I am thankful for.
