Hi,

I was just wondering.  I have been looking around the site, and other peeps profiles and such, and have noticed there is not a "personal" response/post box for anyone.  How do you get to their personal onsite inbox if you don't want to post something on the thread itself but to the person her/him self personally???  Is there a way to do this? If not, is there going to be a way to do this.  I have posted a few times with my email address in the post and my messenger name so that one person that is "working" with me with Alli can communicate on a personal level, rather having to "expose" everything about ourselves in public.  Is this going to happen or already set up, or is it going to be?  We are Alli weight loss buddies, and each time I include that info, my post is rejected. Is there a way to post privately to that person, or not? If not, will there be a way to do this?  Thank you.

   I just tried to Post something to you and I was going to let you send me an E-mail at my address, but my Post was deleted, just like they did to you!  So I am not able to send you an E-mail.  At some sites they have a place where PM private Messages can be sent.  I guess they don't have that here??  Well I guess we can only discuss our results from Alli, no helping each other, that is considered to personal.  Sorry Pookie

 That was an excellent question. Tuesday is my first weigh in!! I miss your posts? Can you still post? Have a great week!! I am on Prescription dosage, per my Doctor, it is double dose of Alli. makes it more expendsive, but at least it isn't $330.00 a month when a pharmacist fills it. I told the Doctor that my Insurance or any Insurance won't cover it, so there is no mall Co-Pay as with most other prescriptions. Usually I get my prescriptions filled at Walmart and they are sometimes $4.00 or a little higher. However; Walmart won't honor Insurances of any kind for this medication. (Alli) Doctor said that using 2 pills is equal to the prescription dosage of Xenical which the prescription is better known by. I was a little worried that by doubling the dose I would get those side effects, but for the last 3 days no bad side effects as of yet!! Good Huh!! Good Luck on finding out if there is an inbox on this site, if not they should maybe add one, that would be nice!!

Yes, I can still post, sorry I have been offline for a bit.  I fell down the last three feet of at 25 foot embankment and landed on my head.  My daughter was with me, thank God.  I knocked myself out.  LOL  How lame is that, ya know?  Anyway, she said she yelled at me five times if I was ok. I only heard her ask it once. Sooooo...Thank goodness I had doctors appt. the following day.  I got up and walking like I was drunk and such.  Wasn't pretty.  I had concusion (sp) from the fall/landing. So I haven't been online much due to that, and that my back got injured even more, soooooooo....  My doc is being a not so nice dude, so I am going to work things around him. LOL  I don't think I can talk about it on here, as it doesn't pertain to Alli, so will keep this personal stuff short.  But yes, I can post, I just need to be able to sit here and be on the computer with the physical complications I am dealing with at present time.  But I did lose another three pounds this week.  I think it was three, if not, then two.  But I think it was three.  How's that for memory. LOL

As for an inbox on here, it sure would be nice. That way we could post to people we are "friends" with here personally to help boost each other/ourselves, especially when we are down, ya know?

As for insurances, yeah, that's the bad part.  Even if the doctor prescribes it, you have to purchase it with your own funds, rather than pay a co pay or such with it, and that's ONLY because it's an on the self/OTC sort of medicine, so insurance won't cover it. It's like going to Walmart and getting a bottle of aspirin.  It's OTC, so insurance won't cover it period.  I think if it's prescribed differently than what it states on the product to use it, it should be covered by insurance, personally speaking.  But yes, you are right, it's better than 330 a month.  My daughter and I have been through our starter pack, and one refill pack each. I need to go and get some at Rite Aid in the next few days as we will be out if I don't.  I go to Rite Aid because it's 10 bucks cheaper than Walmart even. I couldn't believe that one.  Usually Rite Aid is more costly than Walmart, but not with this.  Soooooo... Rite Aid, here I come again.. ROFL..

You might want to look for a thread somewhere on these message boards about Facebook, if you both are on Facebook.  Then you would be able to connect directly.

Also, I buy the refill packs online at Amazon.com.  It's $47 for the 120 pill bottle, and, the shipping is free.  It took only a week to get to my house.  Also, I have bought two bottles at Walgreens now.  I bought a starter bottle and then another 120 pill bottle because I was out without my alli pills and had to go to an unexpected lunch at a restaurant.  Anyway, every time I buy a bottle at Walgreens, I get a $10 off coupon for the 120 pill refill bottle.  And, I am signed up for Walgreens e-mails, and, they send me $5 off and $3 off coupons.  Plus, this week Walgreens had another $10 off coupon for any alli, it was in their Sunday newspaper sales circular.  So, although their 120 pill bottles are normally $70, I got mine for $50 with the coupon in the Sunday newspaper and the coupon that I got with the first bottle that I bought.  And, now I have another $10 off coupon for my next bottle.
