I absolutely love to walk and have found that is the only exercise that helps me lose weight but I love lifting weights because I can feel the results immediately. I don['t know but if it doesn't burn afterwards I do not feel like I got anything out of the workout. My problem is time. I work 20 hours a week, I'm going to school which takes up huge chunks of time with classes and homework, I have a garden and right now if I'm not picking I'm canning and I'm a mom to a teenager and a foster mom to a 5 month old. All that does not include everything that goes into running a house hold. so finding just 10 minutes for myself lately is immpossible.
I have a plan to get more exercise starting this week. While my foster child is at his visits I am going to the YMCA to walk on the tread mill and lift weights. That should give me two days at least to exercise. Then in the fall I plan to add two more days between classes and going to work because of the logistics of were I live it doesn't make sense to go home before work but then I'll have two hours to kill so what better to do than exercise.
