    E-diets delivery and meal tracking

     I sighed up for the e-diets meal delivery plan for Alli and it's great. I decided to do my meal tracking here because I like the tools better - especially since the the e-diets meals are available to select here (oddly, in e-diets own meal-tracker they are not). The only thing is, every day, I was finding myself over the limit of calories for my plan... only I was following the plan exactly!  It turns out that the nutrition information for the meals here is for bigger servings than you get with the e-diets delievery - sometimes twice the size.  I looked to see if I could adjust the portion as you can with inidividually added foods, but you can't.  Is this something that would be possible to get in the future?

    My contact from eDiets communicates this:  " the eDiets meal delivery is based on a 1200 calorie diet and about 1000 is shipped.  Customers need to add dairy and fruit to their plan to bump up to 1200.  She may be on a higher calorie level on the alli digital plan."

    Let me know what calorie diet you are using.  Does this help answer your question?

     No, not really.  I already knew that information.  I think I wasn't really clear.

    What I'm asking is specifically in relation to the meal tracking tool here (My Meal Plan).  You can find most of the same meals that are in the e-diets plan, only the portion sizes are clearly different. For example, the Oven Roasted Turkey Breast with Cranberry Wild Rice Salad is an e-diets entree and is also listed on My Meal Plan. However, the e-diets entree I receive has 290 calories while the one listed in My Meal Plan has 490.  The e-diets portion is about 2/3 the size of that listed in My Meal Plan, and with entrees like that (unlike with individual food items) there is no way to adjust the portion, so when I look at my daily numbers, I consisntantly appear to be eating more than my daily calorie limit. I know that I'm actually not doing so because I'm eating the e-diets meals, but it would be nice to have the numbers work.

    What I'm asking is if in the future, it would be possible to make the entrees in My Meal Plan adjustable by portion size (so I could say that I ate 2/3 of one).  It's not a big deal, obviously, but it's nice to be able to look at your daily totals and give yourself a pat on the back for being "on target".

    i was just about to post the same question, but for different reasons.  My whole family is sticking to the meals suggested by myalliplan, however you cannot adjust the serving size of the suggested meals, it's set to an individual serving.  This is a bummer because you have to go through and multiply every ingredient by however many servings you would like to make.  It would be great if the website did it for you!

    Myalliplan was created for individual, so servings are for 1.  I can mention your request to creative and see if it can be considered for future udpdates.
