Hey Jesspritch,
I am also new to this program..Maybe we can be buddies. My current weight is 214 pounds and want to lose an average of 55 pounds...maybe we can use the buddy system to motivate each other. I currently began taking the alli pill..and its safe to say i have not had and "accidents." I watch what i eat and try to keep my meals no more then 12 grams of fat and about 400 calories.
Here is a little about me, i have three children 2 boys and one girl (14, 13, and 4). An i am currently going for my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and happily married to a wonderful man for 15 years. At times i feel my life like a roller coster with the event, school, and family, but i am making my diet my #1 priority....i need to.
We can talk about what motivating us? Are the people around us help or not with our decision to lose weight?
what motivates me is to take each day as a new begining. if i ate something i wasn't suppose to, well i am not going to screw up the whole day over one senseless mistake...i will move on and look forward to better choices.
My family is supportive. i am the main cook in the family and what evr i make everyone eats...i usually aim for healthy food (veggies, lean meats, etc) and i use lots of spice to make food taste good...i had no complaints as of yet, i will probably make something special one day a week..incorperate something my children want to eat...but make a healther version.
enough about me...
Keep in touch and we can be friends.
take care and stay positive!
