    College Student...impossible to cook..crazy schedules..

     Hi everyone,

I am going to start taking alli this Friday and I'm greatly looking forward to it, but being a freshmen in college with a crazy unpredictable schedule will make it more difficult. I stay in the dorm area because I moved from town so there is no way to cook due to the fact that we don't have a kitchen. All there is to eat is greasy pizza and chicken most of the times. I usually eat out, recently I have started to eat salads instead of burgers. Does anyone relate to this? If anyone has any advice to share I'd really appreciate it. I have stacked with as much fruits and lowfat foods as possible. I only have a small fridge and microwave in my room which I share with a roomate. Thanks in advance. =)

     Hello Hope!

I think I know what you mean. i'm a second year in College and my schedule is pretty crazy too! The best advice  I can off is plan out your mels, first of all. This is to avoid any mishaps. Which by the way, one or two mishaps won't kill you, so know worries. Another suggestion I can make is make snacks to go, and keep your little fridge stacked with good foods. It's probably the best possible way to keep on track. Well,,, maybe not the best but it works for me. IF you buy out alot from a cafeteria on campus, I would check out the different options that they have and see what works for you. Another idea is to keep that little To go guide that came in the Alli starter pack, just incase you are with your friends and decide to go out to eat, you're covered. That's about the best I can do for advice. i hope i helped a little. Good Luck to you and if you're ever looking for someone to chat it up with, let me know. These things work SO much better with a support line. Good Luck!!

Re: College Student...impossible to cook..crazy schedules..

    Hi,

I am a Freshman college student too. In my dorm hall there is a area to cook your own food. (which is right beside my room) Is there no dining hall? Yes it is not at health as cooking your own food, but better then eating out (money wise and health wise) Buy fruit and raw veggies and that will help too. I know that I do not have enough money th eat out all the time so I  choose better choices at my dining hall.
