    Stomach problems

I have been on Alli for 2 months and it has only been in the last few days that I am having this problem.  If I eat a meal that is more than a snack my stomach will feel lousy like pins and needles jabbing me.  Once my system starts to digest the food I feel fine again.  For instance last night I went out and ate a large salad.  It contained lettuce, chicken, 2  cucumber slices, 2 slices of egg, 2 cherry tomatoes, croutons and if you were lucky you could see the sprinkle of cheese on it with fat free french.  I felt crappy as I finished the salad until my stomach had time to settle down.  This happened as well when for a snack I ate a Thinkthin bar because I had to get to school and it was going to be awhile before I was going to get supper.  Thinkthin's are really filling and my stomach did the same thing.  I have lost 9# and it is coming off slowly.  I just had a slimfast drink for breakfast and I feel fine.  I have not had any TE's.  Any thoughts?

    Re: Stomach problems

You've been on alli for a while and seem to be doing well.  It almost sound like you're coming down with a little bug or, perhaps, ate some contaminated food somewhere along the way.  Your stomach is a bit queasy so try and eat lightly for the next day or so, and see how things go.

More SF drinks, some soup etc. are things you're likely to tolerate well.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Re: Stomach problems

Oh I hope you are so wrong Pat.  The flu bug has gone rampant in our building.  People are out for a good week.  I will hope it is just something I ate.

Thanks so much and have a great weekend!

    Re: Stomach problems

Yes, I understand! :o)  I didn't mean that nasty flu as you described...more like the 24- to 48-hour kind.

After your being on alli for 9 weeks I doubt it's related.

    Great weekend to you too!

    Pat
