New to Alli~ need some guidance

Hello~ I am new to Alli and the boards here.  I am excited to try this product based on the good reviews I have read.  However, Ive been taking the pill since Friday and have had no treatment effects; not that I want them; but to test the product out I clearly went over my allowance of fat in one setting and have been waiting for the "results".. so far nothing.  So is it possible that these dont work for me?  I had a snack that was 27 grams of fat; after my meal that was bout 15 grams of fat or more and had no effects.  I want to believe this works and am trying really hard to follow the plan; Im having a hard time keeping my calories down and my fat up.  I used WW a while back and had a little success; however once off I gained it all back completely and then some.  I really need some help and guidance with this product.  Can someone help me?

Treatment effects usually happen immediately after consuming a fatty meal.  However, sometimes it may take up to 2 to 3 days to feel and see the effects depending on your digestive system.  I will encourage you to be very careful with your fat intake and try to stay close to your fat recommendations on most days.  You may be able to tolerate a few grams over but much more than that may result in treatment effects.

On the other hand, most people following the alli program do not experience treatment effects at all during their journey with alli.  alli takes about 25% of your fat intake and discards that oil in your stool without you even noticing anything unless you have a treatment effect.

Try these healthy fats if you are short of fat grams but close to your calories:

4 almonds or walnuts = 4 grams fat, 44 calories

1/4 cup cubed avocado = 5.5 grams fat, 60 calories

    1 cup 1% low fat milk = 2.4 grams fat, 102 calories

1 cup Low fat fruit yogurt = 2.5 grams fat, 240 calories

1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter = 8 grams fat, 100 calories

4 oz. Salmon Chinook fillet, broiled = 15 grams fat, 252 calories

Let me know if you have any other questions,
