Hey everyone!
I've been reading these threads every morning prior to work to put myself in the right mindset and stay motivated to *keep on track*.
I'm 23, 5'5 , 150 lbs. Not extremely overweight but with diet/exercise I was able to get to 138 lbs a year or so ago and felt great. I'd ideally like to get down to 130 but for now I have a 10 lb goal.
I started the pills on Sunday and have only had one TE. I slipped up on a meal. Not a horrible mess up either but still ALLI reminded me the consequences.
I didn't exercise Sunday/Monday but yesterday I ran for 23 minutes/2miles, did a few sets of arm curls/situps etc, and a few routines from CARMEN ELECTRA'S strip tease DVD. Today- I ran 23 minutes/2miles.
Diet- My husband and I don't eat at home often at all so I've been reading nutritional info everywhere I go. I've been loading up on steamed veggies at restaurants and grilled chicken (always forcing my husband to help me eat it so I don't overeat!) . Instead of the usual "crispy chicken sandwich at Burger King" I've traded it in for a Turkey sandwich from Wendys with no mayo. I've been going to subway and grabbing a sandwich with veggies/no dressing (or the lowfat honey mustard) and no cheese. This is definitely a life style change but unlike most traditional diets I am able to find alternatives to still enjoy my food and still be able to eat on the go.
I haven't weighed myself yet. My check in days are Friday. This first week won't be a "full week" on Alli but I still hope to see a change. I'm feeling Great!
Congrats to everyone who has lost weight! Keep up the hard work!
