    Hi Lisa,

Good job on the 3 lbs! I started the low-fat/cal diet on June 1st, and alli on June 14th, and as of today I'm down 15 lbs. I also added 30-60 mins per day of exercise on a Gazelle over a week ago and it's wonderful.

What version of The Biggest Loser video do you have? I was just looking at those the other day, and having never watched the program, I wondered if they would be helpful.

    Re: THE BIGGEST LOSER!

I will have to get that.

Other great videos are Leslie Sansone Walk away the pounds, where you get a great workout without feeling like you are jumping all over the room, or doing steps that you would have to be a dancer to master. Also Leslie Sansone you can do Pilates, the only Pilates I can do, & one of my favorite workouts.

    other great videos

Leslie Sansome's Walk Away the Pounds are great. They are simple. If you like more complex videos or would like to add strength try www.collagevideo.com. They have many selections. You can go to www.videofitness.com to find reviews. Also, deep discount has exercise videos. I don't know their address but you could google it.

     Good luck,

    Re: THE BIGGEST LOSER!

I tried the biggest loser workout last night, and loved it. I especially liked how some of the contestants sometimes messed up and that you could tell that the workouts were really challenging to them because it made them more human. I definately laughed out loud at some parts, and was excited to be able to keep up. I also liked that you can choose from different workouts--I hope to be able to do the boot camp was I am more fit.

    Re: THE BIGGEST LOSER!

All of you sound like you are doing great!  I am so excited about this! I have a problem staing interested in the videos I choose to workout to.  The ones I stick to the longest are the ones I can have fun doing(Your thinking yeah right, what fun?!?).  The funnest ones are the ones that you are dancing to, but work out to at the same time.  I also find kickboxing videos give you the most workout for the least amount of time.  All the videos you all listed sound great, I think I am going to try a few of them.  Well, good luck to everyone on their weight-loss journey.  Thank God that we have something that acutally works!  I can't wait until I start seeing results!

    Re: THE BIGGEST LOSER!

Hi everyone, I saw this thread and thought I would add my opinion of the show. I think it's a great motivation for those of us who need a little kick in the pants and a little more inspiration to keep us on track. I don't know if I could ever go on that show and if I did I would want to be on Bob's team I think Jillian is just too mean. As for people sabatoging thier own diets on the show, it just shows how human we all are. Our overeating is not just about the food but about the emotions also.

Anyway, I really like the show and am always amazed at how much weight people lose in just a week. I guess that could be possible if all I had to do everyday was exercise and watch my food intake. Add in caring for the house, working, going to school and all the other day to day stressors and who has time to exercise the way they do on the show? I am going to continue to watch and motivate myself to be one of the biggest losers.
