    Re: Over 300, holla back!

Well im over the 300 mark it was hard for me to keep track of my weight because scales only go up to 300lbs so i just put on the weight not realizing how much i was putting on kind of in denial so i finally ordered a scale online when i purchased these pills and the scale said 492 and i was just thinking how did i let my weight get out of control like this but hopefully these pills will help us i know i got a lot to lose and its gonna take sometime so its good to know they are other people on here who have alot to lose like me and we can help each get through this and support each other because getting this weight off will take sum time but we can do it. So far the pills have been working i went down to 479lbs since last friday so good lck every 1

Hi! I am 27 and weigh 295 lbs, I have been over 300.  I am also wanting to lose weight to go on a cruise in March. I would like to to weigh 200 lbs when we leave. I have been overweight my whole life and all of my friends are skinny. I have failed everytime I have tried to lose weight but this time I am ready to give it 110%. I am rooting for you, good luck.

    Re: Over 300, holla back!

I have only been on Alli 6 days and have lost 5lbs so far since I started. I actually just hit the 299 mark! I know to others that is not something to be proud of but to me it is I have been over 300lbs for over 3 yrs so I am proudof this acheivment! I remember in college being ashamed cause I was 215lbs but now what I would give to be 215!  I have actually been on a low fat diet for about 2 mths and my starting weight was 322 so this is a big deal for me. I too would like to look good in a bathing suit and be able to sit comfortably in an airplane! My goal is to be able to travel to Turkey next year to visit my in-laws and that is a 12 hour flight.(Not so comfortable with an armrest digging into your thigh!)  I also would like to start a family soon cause I have been married for 5 1/2 years and have been afraid to get pregnant because of the health issues that go along with being severly overweight and pregnant. Well I could go on and on but I just want to wish everyone luck in their weight loss journey with Alli!

    Re: Over 300, holla back!

    Melosa1999,

You should be very proud of yourself for being 299. I wish it was me and I know it soon will be which gives me great hope. I am so excited that I can finally lose weight, that I just don't know what to do. I've been getting ready for the 4th and I realize now that all I have to do is plan meals. Fruit, veggies and other healthy snacks as substitutes to those fatty choices that I've made in the past. Good luck to you and I know you'll fare well in seeing the in-laws and becoming a mommy.

Look forward to talking to you and hearing about your progress.

    Re: Over 300, holla back!

I also am over 300, Actually  at least 350 when I started, My scale only goes up to 350,  I have been using Alli  for 2 weeks  this past Monday  and  am down to 341.  I am 53 and 5'7".

I have been married for 32 years.

I am the Mom to three son's age 31, 27, and 25 (Boy are they getting old) my oldest is married and we have two grandchildren, a boy and a girl, and they are having a third this month, another baby girl.

I would like to get down to 175 but that is a long way away.

Short term I will be so thrilled to get below 300, It has been a long time since I have been there.

I remember in college thinking I was so overweight at 175 now 33 years later that is my dream weight.

This will be my first week with alli to have guest in the house. I am praying I can manage without any problems.

The TE seem to keep me in check with my calorie and fat intake. My husband is also being very supportive so that helps a lot. I have not really told to many other people. I have failed to many times with other diets.

My second and third son's are both planing to get married in 2008 so I really want to get my weight down for those big occasions.

I am hopping to get close to 100 pounds off by the next summer.

I really enjoy reading all the post from people in my situation with so much to lose.

    Re: Over 300, holla back!

    Debbie,

Your store sounds much like mine (without the kids) LOL..

I found a scale on ebay that goes past 350  so I can check myself.  It's so difficult seeing the amount of weight to loose but if we all stick together, we can do it.  It looks overwhelming at times, but not impossible.

I've been on Alli since June 25th and I've only lost 1 pound.  I'm hoping this week will be better.

    Good Luck

    Re: Over 300, holla back!

    Debbie,

You can do it, I have been on Alli a week now and have lost over 8 lbs. Not sure exactly how much since this is my time of the month. But I encourage you to continue and don't give up. The weight will come off if you drink water, exercise, eat a low fat/low calorie diet and continue to take Alli, there is no way you can't lose.

    Re: Over 300, holla back!

Hello Group! I finally found the right board for me!  I was 269lb and afraid of the "270" coming up, so I bolted for a life change.  I have been on the program for two weeks and I am already down 13lbs!  Granted its most likely water, but who cares - 13lbs is 13lbs!

I have been baby-sitting my calorie, fat and water intake; along with at least 60 minutes of excersize a day.  My failure in the past has always been trying to do it all at one time - instead I break up the excersize through the day.  I am feeling great and excited to share stories on this thread!

     Cheers!
