You may have a medical issue, I would see my Dr if I were you

could be just overuse (trying not to sound like a smart butt) or i could even be thr orange looking oil. I would stop if if gets worse though. personally am not even going to the bathrrom much. Less so than before I started taking alli. Hope things get better

I had it too one day.  When I wiped, it was bright red.  I didn't take my dinner alli pill and used bacitracin ointment on my bottom, and it seemed to work.  Probably your just going too much, I think that is what I did.  I had eaten pizza and crazy bread.  I know it was loaded with tons of fat because I bm'd and bm'd and bm'd and bm'd.  And there was an orangey oil all on the toilet.  Never eating pizza again!!!!!!!

 Hope that helps some.  If it continues, I'd seek a dr's advice. 

 You might just need more fiber in your diet.  I'm no doctor, but I know it's easy to get little fissures if your poop isn't moving smoothly through the out-door.  A dose of Citrucel each day might help your problem.  Or you might have hemorrhoids, which are also helped with increased fiber.  Good luck.

If you're sure it's blood and not just the orange oil many pass, then it's time to call your doctor and have an exam.

As you can see, there are many possible reasons for what you saw. The only thing that you need to do right now is find out exactly what you are seeing and you will need to see your physician for that. I would recommend that you discontinue taking alli and seek medical attention. Once you have found out what it is that was in your bowel movement your doctor can help you decide if alli is right for you. No one should ever ignore blood in their bowel movements. Once you have seen your doctor check back and let us know what happened.

I don't have bleeding, thank g_d, but with all of the constipation, then the TE's, I'm now the proud owner of a hemmeroid! (sp?) My first in 42 years! That could be what you have, and if it's bleeding, it's serious. My brother had a huge one (after ignoring the problem for months) and he had surgery that layed him up for 6 weeks!

Please go get it checked out. As for me, I'm on Preparation H is it's helping.

Your not alone, I just finished telling my b/f.  I  too had minor bleeding. I think he was more worried than me. Not sure how much I have lost  yet, my checkin is on Sunday.  I  sure hope its 15 lbs. though!

I have also been on it for one full week and ate horribly this weekend. I had bad TE's was in bathroom about 4 to 5 times on Sunday and one of them, I also noticed blood.. (at the risk of over sharing )it was a reddish mentrual period looking blood. My BM was otherwise light yellow and not dark and the other orange oil that comes out.  I was thinking maybe I was cleaning too hard or straining or something I dunno. But I assumed if it was internal bleeding my BM would be dark mixed with the blood. I dunno, it hasnt happened again but if it does, I guess its off to the Drs office.

The internal bleeding that gets absorbed in the stools is different than bleeding in the colon that  comes out with your bowel movement. As I mentioned in my previous post, you should speak with your physician to determine the cause. My hemroids have started to bleed. I guess it's because I have to wipe so much and also because of the increased exercise. If it's only on the paper when you wipe then it's probably the same thing. If it's bright red color and not orange. If it's more than that I would definately see a doctor.

Don;t take this as a substitute for talking to your doctor, but..............I have noticed my BMs are much more voluminous and dense since taking Alli, which has resulted in anal bleeding.  You could also be developing a hemmorrhoid if this is happening to you.

I also had alot  of anal bleeding and i went to the doctors and they said its definetly blood and i'm expecting results tomorrow. They thought it might not be blood and may be a side effect of this pill but they checked and said it is blood. hopefully everything is fine. i will post if it has anything to do with the alli pill.

I've got the anal bleeding going on as well! And boy was I scared to see this! My bottom is also very sore. Not sure what to do before seeing the doctor?
