I totally agree.  I tried to report a post that I thought was inappropriate because the poster was making FUN of ALLI users saying that the boards were fodder for entertainment for the family...her post stayed, and mine was deleted.  HELLO??????????

Don't know why I'm typing this, it probably won't see the light of day.  The fact that someone has to approve every question is beyond ridiculous..and the moderaters?  Questionable judgment based on my experience today.

I couldn't even get on these boards for over 3 days, what's with that? I kept getting sent to an error message.  I think the Alli support sucks, I bought Alli the first day it came out, I tried to keep my nutrition log up but since I work late and could only get online in the later evening I couldn't post because they never fixed the time zone difference, and it would show up on the next day's log.  I called them, I emailed them twice or more, I posted on the technical issues board a couple times and got no response or fix.  I haven't lost a pound, I lost 28 before starting on Alli and haven't lost any since, I know it's not for everyone but when you follow the plan you expect results. They offered so much in the beginning, what happened to all that?  Oh well, I vented and I won't be buying anymore, good luck to all of you...

Actually, I posted a reply to your "my time zone" post on July 2. You can search for your posts by selecting the "search" option in the top right-hand corner of the message boards.

And to clear up a couple of issue on why the message boards are monitored:
On the community side, there is the chance that some may try to post inappropriate, offensive, soliciting, or advertising messages. Such messages are prohibited. This is stated in our Comment and Response Policy. There may also be certain health issues discussed, and as an FDA approved program, we are required to report such cases. In order to do so, our boards are moderated in order that none of them slip by unnoticed or unreported.

The technical forums are moderated so that we can help those having technical difficulties with the site. If these were not moderated, then it would be difficult to answer all questions to the best of our ability. The only reasons these posts may not appear is if it a problem many users are experiencing (in which case a general message will be posted at the top of the forum) or they contain personal information (phone numbers, email addresses, etc.) that we cannot post.

I had a bad experienced with this board that's why I just read, but I don't reply anymore. But I really need to share this.

I few weeks ago I reply to this lady from Puerto Rico looking for people from the island. Of course I'm from Puerto Rico and I replied to her, some of the word were in spanish, but this person was hispanic. I had an email back stating that the message was deleted because I did not used english language.

There a lot of spanish speaking customers that used alli, but they don't want spanish forum here. 

That's another FDA regulation? 

 

 Below is the email sent to me stating my post had been deleted.  They said i was "advertising" because I suggested some better boards for us to use as "support".  More government regulations....wow...I guess none of us have brains enough to read posts and make up our own minds . Absolutely - there are millions of boards out there that are instantaneous. This is supposed to be a support board. People post when they need support. Well if I have to wait 4 days for that support....I can guarantee I've already eaten that twinkie and whatever else. The posts should be instantaneous. Boards will moderate themselves. People always report offensive language. This is a free country......not a communist country where we all need to be controlled.
