 Can someone please clarify for me? Is a TE seeing oil in the toilet or is that normal? I see oil 75% of the time I use the restroom but have only had 2 uncontrollable instances when I first started at the beginning of November?

Hi Fancsali,

A treatment effect is an uncontrollable oily discharge that can occur 24 to 72 hours after going over in your intake of fat. The oil that you see in the toilet when you go to the bathroom is the oil that is being excreted by alli. The oil can come out separately or be mixed in with your bowel movements so you may not always see it there.

Hi I started the alli pills 3 days ago and I have been eating really well and not getting too much fat or calories my scale shows about a 7 pound loss probably just water but its nice to see. I need to lose about 130 pounds to be healthy. Anyways I never see any oil in the toliet so I am wondering if it is mixed with the bowels but should I be able to see anything I think sometimes I see shinny in the toliet but no orange?

Hi Italgurl19,

You do not have to see the oil for it to be there. When you don't see it then it's mixed within your bowels. It is important for you to reach your calorie and fat goals to get the most out of this plan. I am not sure if you meant that you are sticking with them or going below that so that's why I am mentioning that.
