    Nervous for tomorrow...

Tomorrow is my first check in...I'm nervous. I have to weigh myself for the first time in a week. As far as I know, I've been doing well. I eat a low fat breakfast (with no alli). Lunch and dinner are within my 19 gram range with one alli for each meal. This week has been hectic, so no exercise yet. I'm planning on walking 3 miles 5 times a week. No TEs yet. I hope for at least a minimal loss tomorrow...wish me luck!

*Should I be taking 3 pills for it to work better? For example...this morning I had a bagel with just a touch of low fat margarine...should I take an alli? I just want to do this the best way possible. Any advice would help :) I hope you're all doing well!

    Re: Nervous for tomorrow...

    Hi Rivoluzione,

Any time that you take alli with a meal that contains fat you will save calories. If you are only consuming a couple of grams of fat in the meal you don't need to take alli with it. Your weight loss is going to come from consuming fewer calories than your body needs to maintain its weight. As long as you are sticking to your calorie plan, and taking alli as instructed, you will lose weight. It sounds like you are doing the right thing by taking it twice a day right now.

Good luck with your check in,

    Betty Kovacs, MS, RD

Good luck tomorrow, it will be my first weigh in day as well and I am nervous too! Every time I got on the scale this week there was nothing lost yet.
