I have had amazing results from using alli as a way to help me lose
weight. Ten pounds down already! Because I hadn't signed up for this
online thing when I started, I've been keeping track of my progress
over on FitDay, and you're welcome to check it out if you want.

You'll
see that I'm eating way more carbs than protein, and that does work for
me. I try to keep it to healthy carbs, with small amounts of simple
ones thrown in just so that I can feel like I'm NOT dieting. Who wants
to feel deprived? I have felt very satisfied every day (aside from the
really low cal days - those were accidental and sucked) and I'm losing
like crazy.
Really, people, this is easier than you think. If
you WANT it to work, it will work. Believe in the process - you gotta
have faith in yourself! Heck, I'm 46 and had given up for the most
part. Not anymore. Well, I'm still 46. *shrug*
I did Body for
Life a few years ago, felt horribly deprived and sore, lost weight (32
lbs in 12 wks) but gained it back within six months. Plus more. So I
figured I'd just eat what I felt like eating... why bother? I became a
bacon-eating, butter-using, chicken-skin-munching fool. It was okay, I
told myself, because I had low levels of that bad cholesterol - not
genetically predisposed to high cholesterol problems. But I was
definitely predisposed to having a lot of weight issues.
I'm
finding this a lot easier to do than I originally thought. I've
discovered a new way to eat, one that gives me enough food so I don't
feel hungry or deprived. Next I need to work on getting active. That
starts on Monday. Wish me luck!
