Re: Any 20 somethings starting Alli?

Well I am glad that all of us are staring on this Journey.. I am Kim.. 5'7 and 226 lbs. This was mt first day on the pills.. I havent always been fat. Once upon a time I was 16 and a size 8. Which is good for me. But then as if it happened overnight I was married had two kids and 260 lbs that was about a year ago. I was happy and so not think about my looks (yes I know but 2 kids under 2.. I didnt have the time) but my husband made a comment.. see he got a harley.. and that what brought the comment of "you have to much extra to ride"  I dont think he realized what he said until it was spoken but Ouch didi it hurt so I joined a gym. Started eating better i have lost some but well i guess a good bit. But I still don't even ask If i can ride I just say NO. I am going to make it to my goal of 165-170 when I can fit into a 10. Thats all I want to do. I know I can. So good luck to us girls with Extra!!

Re: Any 20 somethings starting Alli?

Hello everyone! I just purchased my pills today and just a little scared. I am totally motivated to loose weight. For months I've been doing crash diets and exercising and for the moment they seem to work but its getting too hard now. My boyfriend and I live together and I guess I'm a little worried because he is thin and eats whatever he wants. I don't know how I will prepare meals b/c I doubt he will eat anything on the menu charts they provide. Any suggestions on how I can prepare meals for only 2 on 2 different diet plans?

I am so glad that I found this post. I've been seeing so many women here who are older, so it's good to know I'm not the only 20 something. I'm 20, btw, and started alli today. Very excited. Good luck everyone!

Re: Any 20 somethings starting Alli?

I'm 22!!! I'm 5'4" and starting at 254. I couldn't believe how huge I'd gotten until I saw a photo of me at a friend's graduation party. It's images like that that make you go "Oh My God! What have I done to myself". This is the start of a journey of 1000 miles and Alli paired with WW is my first, single step. I can definitely relate to your obstacles, like skinny-minnie best buddies and cute clothes that don't fit. I just picked up the starter pack today and plan to start next Fri, 6/22 so that I have a solid week of low-fat eating behind me. Good luck! S

Re: Any 20 somethings starting Alli?

Hi! 24, 5'2" and 244 at the moment. Been trying to lose weight with diet and exercise for the past year and a half. At all time high weight too. I haven't started the medicine yet - nervous about side effects while i have to travel tomorrow during the day. Starting Sunday morning.

Ultimate goal is 150-175. First 6 months goal is 225 (20 lbs aprox). I think i can do it!

Re: Any 20 somethings starting Alli?

I am 25 with 2 kids. I have always been a little overweight, but now I am the biggest I've ever been. I weigh 210 lbs at 5'1". I gained a lot of weight during my last pregnancy and continued to gain. My son is now 18 months old. I'm tired of trying these get slim quick schemes, green tea blah, and 'pay for prepackaged meals' (I never did the latter, actually). But I'm ready for something that's really gonna work. This time I am changing my habits, I'm going to do it right.

Re: Any 20 somethings starting Alli?

Hi, I'm Jenn...22...and from New York. 5'4 and 190. I have been dieting my whole life. I have tried every program, every diet pill. This pill sounds like it could work. I'm hoping it will =) I hate how diet pills make me feel dizzy, drunk, and sick. This pill won't do any of that, as it works with the digestive system. Hopefully I don't get any of those nasty side effects. I'm working 8 hr. days on my feet in a local toy store, helping customers, and that would be a NIGHTMARE, plus, I don't drive...so I couldn't leave till my shift was over...lol.

Re: Any 20 somethings starting Alli?

I'm going to be 21 on Tuesday, and for my birthday present I asked for Alli. Needless to say my mom was reluctant at first but she knows about my constant and lifelong struggle with being overweight and how it has affected me. I don't think I could get a better birthday present than to feel good and look good! Since I got my kit before my birthday I plan on starting first thing in the morning with my breakfast. Hopefully no nasty side effects. Good Luck to all my fellow 20 somethings, and look out world... a new wave of beauties are about to take over!;)
