    Re: WEEK 3 WEIGH IN

Great Job Hopeful!   14 pounds is wonderful.....I lost 10 and feel so much better. The thing that keeps me from eating too much fat is taking the Alli pill. It keeps me more aware of what is going in me. I've added more fruits and veggies which I rarely ate before and I think I'm starting to get the swing of healthy eating. Yeah...I think everyone will have bumps along the way...a new way of eating takes time to learn and put in motion. All those bumps could make us stronger and more determined to conquor the body and health we all deserve. Plus if we now can learn a healthier way of eating just think what we can teach our children.

    Re: WEEK 3 WEIGH IN

I too went on vacation my 2nd week and stopped taking Alli.  I just jumped back in there and it has been easy and I'm back to losing.  I haven't felt like cooking much since we've been back, so I bought some Lean Cuisines to have on hand.

You can do it, just go for it!

I am i haven't had any TE at all. I was feeling very disapointed because I was doing all the right things Excersising 5 days aweek .  Eating less then then 1200 cals a day and 12 g fat per meal and had'nt lost a lb but now week 3 I lost 7 lbs out of no where.  I been trying to post to have some support from others but havn't been able.  All I can say keep trying.

    Re: WEEK 3 WEIGH IN

catfish50 i have about 130-150 lbs to lose.so it has been coming off quickly in the first couple of weeks.im sure it will slow down to the normal 1-2 lbs a week.even though you have lost only 5 lbs how do your clothes fit and how do you feel,i think this is as important as the pounds lost.keep it up and those 40 lbs will soon be gone.

A year from now you will wish you had started today.

    Re: WEEK 3 WEIGH IN

    Hi gymchick :)

I am not really sure why you have not lost anything yet...could be a number of things or a medical reason.  Each person is different, and as with the person in a previous post, I too have over 100 lbs to lose.  I think it comes off a little quicker when your body has so much extra to spare.  I would say to be sure to eat at least 3 meals a day, and be sure you are consuming enough calories and fat, as recommended by the plan so your body doesn't feel like it needs to hold onto any to keep you running.  Maybe see if you can get one of the dieticians to give you some recomendations or check with your Dr.

    Good luck!!!!!
