    Started evening of June 14th with dinner.  Have taken 3 pills so far and have lost 2.5 lbs.  Ate veggie pizza with no 'oops".  Not really following any diet plan, just trying to watch what I eat.  56 year old with 40 lbs to lose or fit into size 10, whichever comes first...really difficult.

     I just love this!! I weighed myself this morning and I have lost a couple pounds, but I know that I can't go by that. so I can't wait to read the scale after it has been a week!!! This pill MAKES you make better choices when cooking/eating. I don't wait to put it in my mouth, unless I know that it is lowfat or no-fat!!! I don't want those treatment effects... I have just had lots of gas....no spotting, and some loose stools that first night. Thats because I did eat too much fat at 1 of my meals. Now I know better.

    No side effects so far.. Went to dinner for anniversary and put half my meal in a to go container before i started eating which is new for me.  Started morning out mowing so i would get some exercise. Hopefully alli will help.  I am 38 and when i was 21 i had a partial thryoidectomy and have been on synthroid ever since.  Which means SLOW metabolism.  Good luck everyone. Have about 59 lbs to lose.

    I, too, started on June, 14th. I joined Curves earlier this year. lost 20, but hit a plateau.

    Hopefully, this will do the trick.

    I live in Bakersfield, Ca and started on the 14th, in the morning.  I have lost 2 pounds already and I swam 2 days for 30 minutes each time.  I am being real careful with my own food until they work out all the bugs on this site.  There are many.  I am hanging though.  I am liking being forced to pay attention.  I am a black out eater... you know ... make a new commitment and eat my way through the rest of the day and say, " What Happened ????"

    As of today I've gone from 193 lbs. to 190.2 lbs.

    Hi

     I purchased mine @ Walgreens for $59.99 started already and just saw it at walmart for $49.99 wish I had waited 2 days.

    I am 51 yrs. old @ 202 lbs.&  5'7" my first goal is to lose 10%, then  another 10% and so on. I will be happy @ 180 lbs  but my real goal is 160 lbs. wow thats 42 lbs. but I'm gonna do it.

    Hi, I started Alli on the 14th too, just getting online today to check out the site.  I am 6'0" and currently 231 lbs, would like to get to 185 lbs eventually.  So far no "treatment effects" from taking the pills, so am happy about that.  Good luck to everyone!

    Scale said I was down 5 lbs this morning after starting Thursday!  I know some of it was water but it still felt good.

    i started today too.  i am 204, and am just looking at reaching my first goal of 194.  small goals however i'm having some trouble using the online food journal.  i am tring to add foods to the database but can't seem to find them again once i hit the save button.  anyone know how to do this

     I started the 14th and I notice that you are my height...and I was 190 before knee surgery but am 183 ....so we're close.  Our goals are the same. : )

    So far I have had no ill effects at all.  Wonderful....

    I am at 1800 calories and 19 fat grams per meal. I am ending up with 1700 - 1740 calories and 38 total fat grams a day.  I walk 2 miles 4-5 times a week.

     I am retired but do go places so....don't want any surprises. I am hearing that keeping within our fat allotment will keep away the so called "treatment effects." 

    I am looking forward to my weigh in next Friday. :)

    Hi There,

    I also started today at lunchtime,with a beginning weight of 205lbs. This site has placed me at 1800 cal. and 19% fat per day. I ultimately would like to lose 65lbs., but will start with a goal of 10. I got the first starter pack of 60 out of Walgreens, and according to the news, the Alli drug was flying off the shelves here in Az. I will check in every Saturday to post and to see the progress, and problems of other Alli users. Thanks for starting at the start. Hope we all make it to the finish line!

    Hello there. I just wanted to say that I started the 15th and we have basically the same goals. I am 5ft 4in and I weigh about 160. I want to get back to 130. It was scary taking the first pill. I am just very excited to see some results. I work in an office where I sit all day so I am going to try really hard to do this the right way and not only take Alli but increase my physical activity as well.

    Just read your post and wow, I relate to being a black out eater. Never heard it described that way before, but it sure applies to me. I am 5'8" tall and weigh 201. I would like to eventually get to 150, but right now even 10 pounds looks good so that will be my first goal and I hope to do it in two or three months and keep it off. I started low fat eating a few weeks ago and this morning I took my first pill with breakfast. Had lunch out but I kept it as low fat as I could. Dinner at home was easy to stay low fat. So far, no side effects. I am going to take my vitamins at bed time but am a little concerned about that because any other time I have taken them at night I end up with insomnia. So, we will see! I am encouraged by those who already lost a couple of pounds in just 2 days. That's amazing!

    Hello.  I am 5'6 171lbs. I had three kids in 3 years so I am battling baby fat.  I lost 16lbs since february with weight watchers.  Weight Watchers has this plan called "Core" and it's all healthy good, like snacks are fruit, vegetables, 94% fat free popcorn.  So I should do good being that I am already eating heathly.  My goal is to be at 140 so 31lbs to go.
