I hate most vegetables. How do I get used to them?

I do not like most vegetables.  I want to follow this diet plan but the thought of eating broccoli makes me gag.  I would rather just do without.  How do I get used to eating more vegetables?

Don't try to force down the vegetables you know you hate.  Substitute.  I thought I hated vegetables once but now I just load up on the ones I don't hate-- onions, peppers, zucchini, carrots, celery, cauliflour, corn, etc.  Sometimes soup is a great way for me to increase my veggies.  Also stir fries.  Look for a recipe for oven-roasted vegetables for a yummy introduction to the natural sweetness in most veggies.  Some people only like raw vegetables, some only like salads.  Be creative.  Put spinach in a smoothie.  And if you really hate them all in all forms, take some veggie supplements in pill form and focus on eating more fruit instead.
