     Shanna, I'm like you: I can't figure out how to add new foods on the revised nutrition log. This is the second time the ALLI people have changed it since I've been using it, and each time it gets less user-friendly. And i was just getting comfortable using the last changeover.

    It took me a while to find all the foods and meals I had entered, but now they are randomly listed instead of grouped by individual product or meal.  Each time I want to use something I have to scroll all the way through the list to find it.  The other way, I could just type in part of the name and the item would just pop up -- even the ones I had entered myself.

    Why can't they just leave it alone? It wasn't broken.

    To console myself, I had a Molten Lava Ice Cream thingy at Chili's tonight.  Luckily, I had lots of calories and fat left over from lunch, breakfast, and supper. So far, no TEs, even though I still took the pill. It was the first such dessert in 7 months, and somehow it didn't taste as good as I remembered.

    I'm glad ou responded to the post.. I haven't heard any responses yet from anyone at GSK or even Betty for that matter...Figured they mught just "quick-fix" it and we could go on.

    When you click on <add an item>, the whole list of favorites pops up.  I will go alphabetically if you click on the word "meal"., then it looks like it used to.  It bugs me I can't add anything new, because I am constantly adding stuff. I am almost obsessed with it.  But I really do use it as a main tool of my weight loss plan.

    Somebody fix it!

    Oh yeah, nice touch with the "picture menu".  But seriously, i think it wil pose problems for people who have dial-up or slower computers.  I even think the favorites list comes up slow.

    Sorry to hear about the Molten Lava cake.  I have really soured on chain restaurants.  We used to eat at Chili's a lot. 

    Chili's, TGIFridays, Longhorn, all of them except for Uno's and Panera, are all WAY too salty, and I would like at least some food on their menus to be prepped in the restaurant.  Everything is pre-made, frozen, and deep fried.  Never mind the salt. They even rub their steaks on something salty.  <------ Sorry for the rant.... :0)

     hi everyone! ive wrote in here before but i see so many new comers....well heres my story :)

    I started at 180lbs and my current weight is 173lbs and my ultimate goal is 120lbs. I am 25yrs old and im 5'2".

    I have not tried the Alli meal plans because none of the foods really interest me, however, I do grab snack and food ideas such as the grocery/shopping list and I print that out every week and I go to FRESH & EASY  which is  healthy market by my house and i go pretty much every other week and buy weeks worth of foods from the shopping list the Alli provides..its great! then i just make my own meals.

    ive been on alli for 4 weeks now..this is my 4th week and I started on january 27th. I started writing my meals down in a journal but then I stopped because I now know more or less what my portions  need to be and what my calorie and fat gram intake needs to be per meal and per day. I also just workout or TRY to workout 3 times a week....starting off slow but I still manage to lose the weight :)

    and no harsh treatment effects...occassionally ill get them but i know when i will because from time to time i cheat and eat something fattening :) but i pay for it later :) so Alli helps you manage your food intake :) and it really makes you think prior to eating because you want to avoid those treatment affects :)

    well hope you all do great and i hope to read more stories :) lets keep each other motivated :)

    Hi Everyone,

    I am sorry about the problems that you have been having with the changes that were made. I do not work on that part of the site, but I do get updates about any problems or changes. All of your complaints, comments, and suggestions have been heard and some changes have already been made.

    Defining foods

    Go to ‘My Favorite Meals’ and click on the ‘Build a new Favorite Meal’ link

     

    Adding new food/items/recipes

    Go to ‘My Favorite Meals’ and click on the ‘Build a new Favorite Meal’ link

     

    Drag and Drop

    Drag and Drop only works in the ‘Add Item’ window. You select the item (hold left mouse button down) in the ‘Add Item’ window (it will highlight yellow) then drag it over the meal occasion that you would like to add it to, the meal occasion will also highlight yellow, then release the mouse button to place the item.

     Loss of previous custom entered items

    All previously added items are now under ‘My Favorite Meals’.

     Logging in nutritional info

    The meal plan now assumes that what is listed is what is eaten. No need to log or confirm what you ate. All you have to do is make sure the meal plan for the day reflects your intake and you are good to go. So use the delete and add item functions to edit the meal plan. The nutritional information will update automatically.

     Defined foods are no longer in alphabetical order

    Just click on the heading title to organize. So if you click ‘meal’ it orders them alphabetically. When you click ‘calories’ it orders low to high, click again and it orders them high to low. Click ‘Fave’ and it will place your favorites at the top, click it again and they move to the bottom.

    You can post any other suggestions here and I will pass them along or you can post them on the technical issues board.
