    Buy on eBay!

I don't know if people feel comfortable purchasing something like this online (I wouldn't) but people are selling it on eBay.  The books are going for pretty cheap too.  Just another option....

    Re: Buy on eBay!

To be honest, I would ONLY feel comfortable buying this online... I don't like people giving me looks and I feel a little embarrassed asking for it behind the counter - as many have mentioned it often isn't in the front display because of the under 18 limit and the price.

Even so, I wouldn't buy it from ebay... no way.  I would however buy it from another online source if it was reputable.  I had heard about alli and then my friend emailed me a link to Alli Review where I read up on it and I'm thinking about purchasing it - they link up to drugstore.com which is owned... or at least affiliated... with RiteAid.  So basically you're getting it from the pharmacy without any embarrassment.

I know that Walgreens.com requires that you meet the delivery and prove you're over 21. (Don't worry, I'm WAY over 21.) Does drugstore.com? The main reason I wonder is that I can't take deliveries at work and I wouldn't be home to prove my age.

    Re: Buy on eBay!

I would only purchase off of ebay if the seller had 100% rating and it was a new sealed bottle and purchase w/ cc via paypal so that I would be protected if the seller ripped me off.  But this is a very good idea, if this works out I might check it out.

Curious to know how much you paid for how big of a bottle?

I purchased my 2nd bottle at Sam's Club - a starter kit with 150 pills for $66.50 or so

    Re: Buy on eBay!

I bought my refill on Ebay as well.  I paid $40 ($44 total w/shipping) for the 120 refill.  The Ebay Seller had a 100% score, sold many other bottles of Alli and had quick shipment. I purchased on a Sunday and I got the bottle on Thursday.  The bottle was sealed.

    Re: Buy on eBay!

    Hi CaryAnne,

Thanks for the great insight and for passing along the site you've found with others.

You do have to be careful whenever purchasing healthcare products on a site like ebay, so good for you for finding an alternative.

    Keep up the great work.

    Good Luck,

    Paul

    Re: Buy on eBay!

You can also try costco- I bought a 150 starter pack for $62. It's hard to get the 150 at that price even on eBay. I think the cheapest I ever saw for 150 on ebay was about 45-50 bucks. Add in shipping, and you really didn't save anything. Also, not that it applies to everyone here- but be careful with exp dates on some of the ebay auctions! Some people are selling pills that are set to expire within a relatively short amount of time.

    Re: Buy on eBay!

Hi! I purchased 90 pill starter pack, and 120 refill on ebay from same seller (i.e. combined shipping), including shipping and handling, for a total of 66.95. I just started, but I'm hopeful!
