I was wondering if there are any SUCCESS stories on alli users who take antidepressants and LOST the weight.
Another area I REALLY struggle in is breakfast. I know I should eat breakfast because that's what starts my metabolism going for the day. I love breakfast and would gladly get up in the morning to eat, except that I am not hungry in the morning.

Does anyone have any tips for me? I really want to get this weight off and I know it starts with a healthy way of eating and I think once I get that going, Alli will really help.

Thanks!

Nichole

My Hair was really falling out. It still is but very little.

I did call it in to the Alli number. I stopped taking Alli in August and today is Nov 5th and started taking it again. I am going to start with one aday and see how that goes. I really wish I new what made my Hair start falling out. I went from hair color that last for 28 washing's to a permanent color " not my choice" they should have asked me.Maybe the perm color reacted bad. I would really like to blame the hair color. Because I lost 40 pound's in 3 month's on Alli. Would it be safe to say if I take extra vitamins and Biotin for hair I should not lose any more hair. I read on the comment's page, not to many people complain about hair loss. My hair was falling out by the handful. My hair is super long.

What's good, what's bad? Obviously the gravy and pumpkin pie with ice cream is a "no-no" to eat. ;) But, I'll be going out of town and staying at someone else's home. The last thing I want to do is have oily treatment effects happen. Can we say embarrassing! But, I also don't want to offend the hostess and say "Sorry, I can't eat that, and that, and that..."

The thing is, I don't want to not take an Alli pill. I would hate to have one Thanksgiving meal make me backslide a couple pounds when it takes a week to get one off. I don't think that's fair at all.

So, what do the rest of you think about Alli and the holidays? You going to skip your pills or take then and just watch what you eat? What's worked for those of you that have already gone through a big meal holiday while on Alli?

Can someone explain the fat grams?

I have a question about the 25% of fat that Alli blocks. If I ate fifteen grams of fat and alli blocked about a third that would be five grams. And if there are 9 calories per gram of fat that would be 45 calories. So alli actually blocks those calories from being absorbed or just the fat? I hope this question is clear!

Then, I discovered something! First, I'd eat the meal. Then when I was 90% done and only had a few more spoonfuls to take, I'd then take my Alli pill. Wha-la! No more coughing!

So...if you are having a problem with coughing, I suggest you take Alli right when you meal is almost finished, rather than in the beginning.

always hungry at night

what should i do?
I chose to try Alli after reading about on the website...and didn't tell my doctor. I am really hoping that I can be successful with it and loose the weight for good.

I have enjoyed reading other's posts on these boards...it has been very encouraging for me.
