eat less and still lose weight! Good luck everyone!!
I know that my limit of 19 grams per meal is only because I am in excess of 185 pounds and the page in the book that set my fat grams basically said that over 19 grams per meal would continue to support that weight. I do not want to continue to support that much weight therefore the fewer the better as long as I continue to get enough actual nutrition.

Re: Too few fat grams

You answered that for me.
After recommending that I buy their book for $7 and skirting the issue, when I pressed her for the answer she told me that I can use it for less fat grams it just won't have as "great an effect" and we'd be wasting the pill. So when I truly have a 0 fat meal, which I do, I just don't take it. I have started "allowing" myself to have lite mayo in my quinoa/chicken *** salad to make it worth it. I'm enjoying it more, but may regret it on the scale.

It'll be interesting to see the posts after the first week. I've had no ill treatment effects except some smelly gas. (Sorry to be gross, but someone asked). I haven't eaten over the 19 fg, but no matter how many fg I have I get the gas. As a stay at home mom- not a big deal for me.

Does this mean that Alli ENCOURAGES 30% of our calorie intake come from fat? I got so frustrated, I just went back to the pamphlets which came with my 90-capsule starter kit and am going to follow the simplest format. In the pamphlets, I find no mention of a three phase intro! I am accustomed to eating a totally non-fat breakfast, so my plan is to take my first capsule with lunch. God bless us all!

Re: Too few fat grams

Soooo ....

I've been on Alli for about 6 days now and have been eating less than the 12 grams it tells me to eat per meal because that would be adding about double as to what I was eating before. So with this being said...Im getting the side effects. Not horrible, but IE today I had a salad and a veggie sausage at my familys house for fathers day and immediately had to go to the bathroom. Was a bit embarassed but...arg. I think I will start taking a fiber supplement as well JUST in case.
