    Omg Omg Omg Some one Pls helpppppppppp........

    I am really very happy to be part of the Alli movement. I am really haveing a hard time with all the info lo. I feel like i am in SYSTEM OVER LOADDDDDDDDDDD. I have done many diets where i counted carbs, or calories, but i just cant seem to get this fat thing right. I feel so confused, i was crying to day and frustrated. Am i over reacting :(  And the mean plan, Is there any way i can find a list of what to buy. I look at the plan and go aww poop what do i do go shoping everyday. Would be easy if i didnt have 3 lil kids. Can someone anyone pls help me with these issues. I have both the books, and the booklets that came with the kit. I am reading everything over and over and still not getting anything. Its like in one ear out the other pls helppppppppppppppppppppppp!!!!!!

    Take it step by step. You don't have to jump in full force. take a few days to eat right first. You don't have to follow a meal plan, just buy healthy things that you like. There are many websites no the net that will give you tips. Then after 2-3 days, add alli to the mix.

    I think if you just get started on your own, without the pill, you'll see that it's not so daunting.

    I am not following the whole plan as written.  I have to cook for my 85 yr old father.  My problem always was that I would pick while eating.  Buy the time I actually sat down to eat I had eaten a meal standing up.  Now with the help of the Alli - I take the pill and DO NOT PICK for fear of treatment effects.  I try not to snack later out of boredom.

    The plan for me was to much...exchange this for that...Eat what you like in really limited portions.  Watch when you cook - don't add fat, butter, oils.  Don't fry.  Watch portions.  A meat is the size of a deck of cards.  If you add butter and milk to mashed potatoes - eliminate the butter and use skim milk.  Then eat just a little. 

    Go to www.foodtv.com and look for more lowfat easy things.  Look...we all know how to eat low fat.  We just have to do it.

    Why not try Lean Cuisine or WW frozen meals? Even some of the $1 Michelenas fall in the range. Add some skim milk and a salad and you're good to go!

    It's very common to be emotional when trying to change your eating. Most people have been through numerous diets and the hopes and fears of whether or not this one will work are very real. I see that you got some excellent suggestions to your post and would recommend following the advice that they gave. The best diet is the one that fits your lifestyle and doesn't feel like a diet. This is your way of eating so make it work for you. If changing everything is too overwhelming right now start slowly and just begin counting your calories and fat and staying within your goal. Keep us posted on how things are going, Betty Kovacs, MS, RD
