You guys, I know many of you have read my issue with "Stinky treatment effects and you, a yucky story". Many of you know that I cheated, and actually welcomed my Treatment Effects. Well screw that all over the world. My body will not stop with the bubble farts, the loose poops,the oil, and constantly pooping. What gives? You know what gives,the fact that I downed white caste, ribs, a cupcake, and the very next day I added a low fat sub, and 4 more ribs! Am I greedy? Yes I am. Was it worth it? It was, but it's been days, and my body is still draining. Granted,I've been taking the pills, and I have more control over the farts, (For nstance,when I feel the bubbly gas, I know something wants to come out, and because I don't know what wants to come out, I move ex peditiously to the bathroom) my body can no longer take it. In fact, I skipped one day of taking the pills just to give my body a break, and that stuff is truly medicine,it doesn't leave your system right away.I suffered the next day still. It's just crazy, I'm still in love with Alli, although my weight has stalled today (not surprising). I thought I would cheat when I wanted to, but no more. I'm tired of feeling bloated, and when I first started Alli, there was no bloat. I know it's because of this stuff trying to drain...

I'd like to let you all know,I asked a few very good general questions along with this post last night; but the powers that be decided to delete my message, and considered it would be better suited in the corp. questions area. Since this is my post, and my questions, I do believe I decide where my post and questions are better suited. Would you agree?

I guess I can no longer ask the questions because Alli feels maybe I'd be "tainting' you as users, and enlightening you as users.

Anyway, my questions, which BTW moderators, has no business in the corp. section, I don't care for their answers, I care for the users answers, so if you're going to remove this, please do not tell me to relocate,'cause I won't. I'll just keep on posting it here.

Question number one,two, and three for the Alli users only...not corp. and not scientist, just the people on this forum.

All of us do not eat the same foods. Why is it that everyone that takes Alli,experiences orange oil, and I'm sure the same potent smell? Are you telling me that out of all of the different food we eat, the fat looks the same and smells the same exiting each and every one of our bodies? Humm, something to ponder, right?

Question number 2. When you experience Treatment effects,do you find that you continue pooing oil, but not too much excrement? I find that I have not had a solid poo yet. Yes, this is graphic.

Question number 3. So is Alli just a behavioral modification "drug"? I mean is this the substance that gives off that smell, and turns the oil orange? Our adipose (fat) tissue is for the most part yellow. When the orange fat solidifys, it turns yellow? I'm just wondering, I don't fully get it, and I would love for someone to dissect this "drug" for me. I unfortunately was the type of child that asked "WHY" all of the time, and it hasn't stopped. I'm somewhat sorry :) Stay fat free guys.

Hi Jenisis!  I'm sorry you are still having TE's from that episode.  Perhaps continuing to eat low fat for a day or so without taking additional Alli pills will help them stop??

As for your questions...I have not actually seen the fat.  I haven't had any TEs other than some increased gas but it's never resulted in a full blown TE.  I do trust that Alli is excreting the fat and I'm just not seeing it because I'm losing weight and inches. 
All I could think about with your first question was the old saying about how "My kids poop doesn't smell!"  as means to show some parents think their kids can do no wrong kind of thing.  I think it's a general just the way it is that our waste has some odor...sometimes it's worse than others and probably has to do with the combination of foods we eat and then so many other internal factors I wouldn't begin to understand.  We prob all interpret smells differently too. 

Try searching for medical sites that might give you more details about how orlistat works.

those are really good questions. Why would everyone's be orange, we all eat different food. And you are right, I havent had a normal BM since I started this. Can this be truly healthy?

That would be something if the pill actually is made to make orange pizza grease just so we'll lay off the fat, and it really did nothing else!

In a morbid sort of way, I wish I had your problem with the body leaking and all. I have been on Alli since 7/6, and the most I have seen from my end (no pun intended) are a couple very small orange spots maybe oh say, twice since then.  To dispell that I have been eating "healthier" to lack treatment effects, I have even conducted my own experiment by chowing down on some really fattening foods like fried chicken with Alli.... nothing happened.

Also, since 7/6, I am still sitting at my starting weight of 152 lbs and that is with exercise on top of it!

I haven't experienced any potent smell, and I poo just normal, solid poo,  but I've lost weight so it must be working.

As far as the fat being yellow - the fat we are excreting is not OUR fat, it's the fat from the food, so therefore it wouldn't be yellow.  Although, I've read posters stating that they had all the colors of the rainbow.  That hasn't really been my experience though.  I've been taking alli for 3 1/2 weeks, and I've rarely had any of those orange blobs.

 just think maybe we all experience this differently - I have no real answers for you, but I think you are right to put this out here and I'm sorry your post keeps getting moved around.  I would hate to think alli was hiding anything.  On that note though, I have not experienced anything like you have.

         hope you are feeling better. Sometime i have to stop taking the pills because I dont want to feel bad,  I have not had full blown TEs but I have had the skinky farts and gas and bloating. I agree with you I think that the powers need to calm down and let us talk and ask any questions we want. you came up with good questions I tend to belive that alli is a behavioral modification drug. Although to be honest I havent taken the pills for about a week (gotta get back to it) I posted a thread called oh so your taking that pill  any way feel better and good luck

i do enjoy your candor. :) i just had my first TE this last week and i did definitely go over my limit. i had just finished the healthy dinner (asian chicken salad using spinach) when the fiancee called to say her parents wanted me to come over to eat....soooooo i went. grilled pork, corn on the cob (which requires butter), pasta and green beans. I ate...i got what i deserved. the first time i got oily blobs (post mexican food) it was orange. after the pork and whatnot it looked more like steak juice...dark brown. i think that it does work, because i have never had oil blobs after using the restroom before. ever. the worst was just the kind of BM you have after you destroyed a local McDonalds...but no blobs. plus i have lost 9 lbs in a short amount of time (2 weeks). however, the fear of loading your pants is an effective deterrant when that mcdonalds 2 big mac special starts whispering in your ear. personally, i think it works exactly as they say it does with the bonus of scaring the crap out of you so you don't crap the crap out of you. :)

The FDA isn't going to approve a placebo and market it as a drug. Period. I would agree that that's a viable theory if it weren't FDA approved.

Second, true we all eat different food. But, generally, isn't human excrement all one color genre anyway? Generally speaking, of course with reasonable variation, we all "go" the same color. Again, with some exceptions. This is the same thing. We are not "going" adipose tissue. This is undigested, unabsorbed food fat. It's liquified. Why does it liquify, I have no idea. A doctor would be able to give you the biology/chemistry of it. Bile is made in different people and it's all the same color. The body excretes alot of different liquids for alot of different reasons, and physiologically they're all about the same in different people.

Your "why" answer isn't going to be answered from the users unless the user has the educational background to explain it. We can give you our experiences....I've been really lucky--knock on wood...however I'm not about to test this TE theory to see if it's true. The idea is enough to sway me. It might be helpful for you to post to both areas to get your answer. Or to talk to your doctor or pharmacist independent of the site.

 When I was on Alli about a month ago, I have since stopped and started back up. I had the same problem. I actually took the pills a day before I ate fatty food thinking I would be ok. Oh no, That same night I had TE, and then the next day, and the day after that. I think Alli stays with  you for days. So after you cheat it a present that keeps on giving!! :(

  People on this board are obsessed with poop stories, the more sickening, the better.  It really grosses me out to hear in detail about orange blobs and rings and sounds and smells and ruining underwear and clothes and furniture.  STOP over eating and you wont have those stories to share with THOUSANDS of people

I posted this on another topic but it got kind of buried by the time the mods let it show  so it is being posted on this topic since this one is just as disgusting. PEOPLE, STOP EATING EVERYTHING IN SIGHT IF YOU DONT WANT THE TE'S!!!  Stick with the plan for heavens sake.

I have been taking Alli for nearly two weeks now, and have not had one treatment effect, I question if Alli is working.  I have even felt like I have been a bit constipated since starting Alli.  Has anyone else had this happen?  I have followed the eating guidelines to a "T" and have only lost one pound.  Is that fat not draining from my body as it should be?

To be honest, as far as the "orange oil" goes, Ive been noticing some I guess you could call it olive colored oil and some greenish yellow oil also. So I guess it can differ with the foods you eat and how the mix with your body chemistry etc.

As far as the oil color, I made the mistake(?) of eating some amount of an avocado (more than half, not a whole)  I had treatment effects the REEKED for three days and they were as green as the avocado itself.  Ick.  The oil you're leaking is from the food, not your body tissues.

I have been thinking that perhaps the typical orange oil color that most experience has to do with the fact that we all also have the typical brown poop color normally during the digestive process, despite the fact that food all starts out different and a variety of colors regardless of our diets.  It just may be what the digest juices, bile, etc. make the oil look like as it exits.  Also, poop smells like poop, pretty much, no matter whose it is.  So perhaps that explains why the fat all smells the same once it exits each of our bodies.

Alli is a behavioral modification drug, but not just that.  It makes it so fat isn't absorbed, but passes through the anus intact.  Those calories are undigested and so those are calories we've not taken into our bodies to make us gain weight.  With a calorie deficit we will burn stored fat and lose weight.

 

I seem to stop taking the alli as I don't want to have some of the effects.It can be embarrassing.  Sometimes it is not easy to get to a restroom as quickly as the effects might come on.

 

I started again today taking alli at all three meals, which were reduced in fat from previous days.  So far just stinky farts we will see what happens tomarrow.

 

I do think when I keep the fat content low, it helps to keep the effects to a minimum-watch out and stay away after I have had a higher fat meal.
