    ballsnow good job on keeping up with alli while on vacation. Hope your having a great time. I am okay just a little stressed at checkin i weighed the same as the previous week. Owell time to work harder exercising and of course i need to drink my water.

    SERIOUS! Goals for march

    1. Drink 4-6 glasses of water a day this is a real challenge for me

    2. 30 crunches everyday

    3.yoga 4 times a week even if i do it after everyone else is sleeping

    4. No eating out unless its subway with 6 grams of fat or less

     I am in love with red seedless grapes.  I put them in snack size bags as soon as I buy them and keep them in the coldest part of the fridge.  Kind of crunchy, definitely sweet, and keeps me busy.

    This past summer, I put them in the freezer. Amazing.

    I think I am just in love with food in general. :)

     Hi stepreflect, hang in there. Some weeks you don't lose anything on the scale, but your clothes will show that you lost some inches. And you are eating healthy and staying on the plan, good for you!!! 

    Thanks for the support while on vacation. It's the hardest time to be on a diet plan while on vacation and going out to eat every night in restaurants wondering what to order next. I get sick of salads all the time. I've been ordering veggie fajitas in mexican restaurants, they are very good, and if you don't get the sour cream and guckamole (spell) they stay within my plan. YUMMY !!!  There should be a really good book out there on dieting and eating out. I find this the hardest thing ever!!!

    Top 10 Snacks (I'll try to hit 10 but I don't snack a lot)

    1. Steamed, plain edamame

    2. Steamed little green peas with goat cheese and hot sauce (it sounds disgusting but it's soo good!)

    3. A whole wheat eggo waffle

    4. Yoplait Whips chocolate mousse yogurt

    5. Nectarines

    6. Granny smith apples

    7. Almond Breeze milk and chai tea

    8. An Altoids tin serving of roasted, salted almonds

    9. White seedless grapes

    10. Pickled whole beets

     My top 10 List: Favorite snacks to grab and go!!

    1. Unsalted Pretzels --the serving size is 20 pretzels (110 calories and 0 fat grams).

    2. Pepperidge Farm mini bagels-cinnamon raisin--110 calories 0.5 fat grams

    3. Fat free jello

    4. Fruit--I find that watermelon and black berries curb my cravings

    6. Any of the 100 calorie Keebler snack bags--I like the shortbread and cheese nips

    6. I will use a slimfast optima--French vanilla as a snack when I am craving and not feeling full

    7. Haribo Gummy bears are fat free

    8. Fat free twizzlers

    9. Roast peppers Hummus on bagel crisps

    10. Banana popsicles are fat free.  Love them!!

     Hey, I am a beginner.  Have not started the "pill" yet, but have started the low fat/low calorie dieting.  I noticed you said your goal for February was the 4 to 6 glasses of water -- well, I have found that the easiest way to drink water is to drink one bottle, then refill that bottle three more times during the day and voila -- you have had your quota for the day.  It is so much easier to drink a bottle of water than it is to drink a glass, at least it is for me.  Thanks for all the snack listings because I was wondering how I was going to survive.  I did not realize there would be so many...  also, I have an AB LOUNGE which has been gathering dust for quite sometime, but I have it back out and it sure makes "crunches easy".  If I can just stay motivated to use it, it does work..

     Blueberry special K bars

    Nature valley crunchy granola bar (Oat and Honey) with PB, yumm

    100 cal. Baked cheetos (100cal/4g fat)

    EZ mac  (220cal/4g fat)

    Mega salad:

    2 cups greens

    2 tsp kraft grated parmesan/romano

    1Tbsp bacon bits

    15 croutons

    2tbsp lite vinigaret

    1 hard boiled egg sliced

    TOTAL 300cal/15.5g fat   without the egg: 220c/10.5f

    29 reduced fat "cheese-its" 140c/4g

    15 wheat thins reduced fat  140/4.5g

    100 calorie chocolate covered prezels only 3.5g fat - delicious when you need chocolate

    Fat free fig neutons 90calories for 2 cookies

    Pretzel bites with peanut butter  10nuggets have 140c and 6g fat

    1. Jello/Pudding cups: They come sugar-free and fat-free!

    2. Sliced carrots & cucumbers

    3. Triscuits w/ Neufatchel cheese

    4. Sliced apples, cooked in microwave with a little water, splenda, cinnamon and nutmeg.

    5. Yoghurt: I've found "Dannon's Light & Fit" to be the best tasting/healthiest

    6. Water flavored with lemon slices/lemon juice - great for detox, too!

    7. "Special K" snack-bars 

    8. Red grapes

    9. Celery w/ hummus or:

    10. Whole-wheat toast w/ hummus and tomato and cracked black pepper.

     Rice Cakes are a great snack especially the Apple/cinnamon. To treat yourself, try adding a TBS of low fat Peanut butter spread thin.  You can have about 7 of the rice cakes with no calories or fat, of course the Peanut Butter adds a little fat.

     Wow, I think this is my favorite thread so far, lol. My husband and I are both just starting this program (no pills yet). I wasn't sure I was going to keep us both going, but these snack ideas will make things a little easier. THANK YOU!

     My Top 5: (I haven't been doing this long enough to get to 10:))

    • Skinny Cow Low Fat Ice Cream Sandwiches  - 140 calories 1.5 gr fat.
    • Snyder Pretzel Nuggets 15 - 100 calories -0- fat
    • Baked Tostitos w/Salsa 14 - 120 Calories  -3gr fat
    • Special K Vanilla Bar - 1 - 90 Calories - 2 gr fat (when I need sweet...) 
    • Honey Made Cinnamon Graham Crackers -2 whole crackers 120 Cal 2 gr fat w/ 2Tbls fat free whipped cream 15 Cal -0- fat

     

    Nothing is more important than being happy...take the time to enjoy the journey!
