One of the many frustrating things about weight loss is that your payoff (the weight loss) is never equal to the amount of effort that you are putting into getting it. It can be an hourly struggle not to eat certain foods and then you step on the scale and see nothing changed. Unfortunately, the scale is not always the best measure of how well you are doing. Your weight can vary 2 to 7 pounds in a day. I have had clients who weighed themselves in the morning and then weighed less when they came to group that evening. You have fluids, hormones, food, and bowel movements all effecting that number. I would stick with your plan for 2 weeks before deciding if it's working.
