     hey girls

    I am happy to hear that all of you are doing great well I didnt lose anything but i think it is because it is that time of the month.... I will stop taking Alli for a little bit untill I start doing some exrecise and loss at least 3 pound but i will keep in touch letting you girls know how I am doing and updating you about me ok..... hey the pill are not that much over her in CT in walmart I purches the starter kit for 47.00 and the pills the ref are around 39.00...

    hey Jossy have a nice trip and drink plenty of Agua.... hey try putting cristal light in you water it is like drinking ice tea thats how I started drinking water... because i did not really did not like water at all and now i love it..... but you could start with that....

    Athena I am happy to know that the carrot cake came out good I will try it with my daughter to see how it will come out with out frosting.... I was get some of the effects of the pills but nor that painfull..... but it is only when I eat FAT.... not happy when that happens.....

    Letty_Good to hear from you.. Thanks for the Water advice I bought me a box of crystal light today at CVS next to my job and it is very good. I like the white tea one.. Gracias..very much. The pills are only a bust to help you lose more weight then dieting and exercise by itself. How long have you been using them?  Stay intouch.. I would like to hear from all of you when we reach out TOP.

    I have no exercise goals my goal is been able to get on those size 11 pants I did not trash. I have been exercising every day even if it is for 30 minutes. I am sore, but it suppose to be part of the work out.  I have been counting my colories and now that I am going to Puerto Rico, I am glad it is only 4 days. Because I don't want to mess up. Maybe if I just eat pinchos each pincho without the sauce should be around 293 calories. I get to eat a few a day with water.. and stick to my calories. I am trying to eat 1500 calories or less a day. I am a Computer Engineer I spend most of my time infront of a PC. I you guys need any help finding out calories or even weight watchers points let me know..  Good luck to everybody I would think about you guys while I am in the Playa getting a sun tan.. It suppose to rain next week but I am still goign to try to get a tan. I am a morena that has lost all her color in the states. LOL..

     Hello everyone,

    My name is Noemi and I have been reading this forum for a couple of days and just wanted to join in to share too.

     I work as an IT Manager and I too spend lots of time in front of a computer (not much exercise there!).  I do make an extreme effort every weekday to leave my desk for at least 25 minutes during lunch and I take a nice brisk walk to get the heart pumping.

    Then I work out for 30-40 minutes 4 times a week in the evenings.  If you guys love to dance, then you just have to try ZUMBA.  I purchased the DVD's online after going to a complimentary class at a local gym (it was cheaper then the gym membership!)  It's got salsa, merengue, cumbia, plus lots more.

    Like you know Jossy is in her trip... and you will be hearing soon from the other girls I wanted to say Hola.... and Bienvenida.....I know what you mean working in front of a computer not easy.....you eat everything in site I work for american express travel dept and they are always bringing food to eat mexican,cakes cookies everthing not good at all..... but you can do it so again welcome hope to hear from you soon....

    I am glad to see everyone doing so well. I have been very busy this past 2 weeks. I finished all my Alli pills in the starter and Its hard finding that refill bottle I LOOKED EVERY WHERE an nothing -_-  but I did find it today it cost me 69.99  O_O expensive but as my grandmother says ITS FOR YOUR HEALTH.

     So again I will starting the pill again. so its back on track.

    I can feel my pants becoming loose ^_^ so happy but I according to my guy friends my rear end is getting bigger O_O I don't want that.I am looseing but gaining that. -_-;

    Hello; Everybody

     I had the time of my life in Puerto Rico, I also Have a tan I am happy about that. It was very hard to keep up with my calorie count but what chock me the most was I did not take the pills but my body was still acting like I was. I was still having that full filling we were talking about. So the affect of the pill did stay with me for a few days even though I did not take them. I know I did not eat to healthy but I did pick the healthier of my choices.

    So I am back, and I am full speed ahead, I am thinking about doing the low carbs for a little while to give myself a boost. I am still going to be taking the Pills and counting my calories. But I think it would be great to slow down on the carbs also. Remember ladies I am the biggest one of all of us.. So I need to be the biggest loser.. LOL..Welcome to the group NOMI,, we have become a very nice family here. I know you would enjoy all the ladies that on this board. We try to keep track on each other. We have a goal here which was created by our favorite baker of the group. Althena, and it is  TO The Top.. so we are trying to make it to the TOP Together. I am also a computer engineer, and I also spend lots of time in front of the computer. Ever since I have been talking to the ladies of this group, they have motivated me to work out..   

    Althena, you are in big trouble did you forget that you are Puertorican and no matter how much weight we lose your butt is not going anywhere where do you think JLO go her butt from.. It is in your blood.. smile.

    Letty, thanks for looking out, how is everything with you.

    Hello Ladies,

    I just got done reading all of your posts.  I really like the support you give eachother. I have been on Alli for 3 weeks.  In the first two weeks I lost 9 pds.  I have no idea where I am at since I have become strict with weighing myself every Monday.  So, we'll see where I'm at this upcoming Monday.  I have really attacked this Alli thing and have gone full force with it.  Yes, I have had the side effects (oh my, NOT fun!). I go on the treadmill 6 days a week and walk 2-3 miles and lift weights. I started Alli weighing 219, and Monday I weighed 210.  I just want to be out of the 200's.That would just make my day! :-)   I just decided that I am tired of being fat, and I have already noticed that my clothes are getting looser and my tummy is deflating.  Plus, my family and I are going on a Cruise in November leaving out of San Juan Puerto Rico and I want to wear that 2 piece again.  It's something to look forward to, but a life style change.  Can anyone tell me if I go to a Mexican restraunt, what would be safe to eat?

    Of course it is easier for me since I seat in front of the PC everyday.. we have shared a few links on this post for calorie counts.     Hi to all.  Im from Yauco PR, and I started the plan like in december and I lost like 10 pounds and proudly went down from size 18 to 14, but then i couldn't by the pills, stopped doing ejercicios (I have triplets and Im a single mom, so its not easy) I just bought another bottle like a week ago, and started again, I'm trying to make a space for me and do excersize al least twice a week for at least 60 minutes and of course on weekends I'm gonna try to do more. 

    Of course boricuas loves to eat, are food is so great, unas chuletas fritas, but can't do them, I'm having blood pressure problems, my weight is 226 and I want to be at least in 190.  I really hope I can keep in contact with all of you.

    Hi everyone,

    Nellie, good luck to you.  Don't worry, I think we all fall back a bit but the important thing is that you are getting back on track.  I started alli about 2 1/2 months ago and lost 9 lbs, but I think I reached a plateau where I am not loosing any weight for the last 2 weeks.  I have to admit that I kind of gave in to the temptation of the wonderful spanish cuisine, but I am trying to get myself back on track too.

    So don't give up!  You are already strong if you have triplets to deal with!  My brother has triplets and they give the family a real workout!

     Hey Nellie, forgot to mention... I love chuletas too, so I just trim the fat from them, season them real good with adobo, ajo and sazon, rub a tiny bit of olive oil on them and broil them or grill them.  Try it!

    Nice to know there is someone to keep in touch.  Sorry if I pour my heart out a bit, today I feel lonely.  You might think how u can feel lonely with triplets, well I have lots of people around me, but I still feel lonely.  I know we women are strong.  But I'm htting one of does days that I wish I had a shoulder to lean on.  I wish I had someone that would just hug me at tell me dont worry I'm here.  I'll get over it, its been a long time since I felt like this.  I just needed to get it out of my chest.

    Thanks for being here....and I knwo that even though the day is kind of cloudy today tomorrow the sun will come out againn.

    Hey Gals!! I just start my alli plan about a week ago I los 3lbs but I can't keep up with the diet, the meals that are here are kindda weird for us, my husband is cuban me peruvian our food is based on rice beans potatoes and ALL KIND OF MEAT please help me out, throw some latins recetas!!! Will be awesome if we all can share and exchage recepies please do so I will appreciatte, I get tired of eating lettuce with something everyday =(  A friend of mine told me that eating lots of tuna is not healthy either because has lots of mercury so now go figure what else can we have for lunch and dinner SOME IDEAS PLEASE!!!

    I have been away for a while. My daddy is not longer with us, he has been called to heaven on Friday April 11. I had been eating Friendlys food for 4 weeks. My father was in the hospital that long. As soon as I got back home after 4 weeks, I am back on track for the pass couple of days. So lets keep trying and to the Together to The TOP.

    Hello: Ineschlop just make sure you bake your meat take the fat off and you can eat anything you want. Good luck..
